The Left gang is useful. Their only agenda is instability in the Governance. Winning just a mere 30 or 40 seats, they are telling that "we will not ALLOW so and so to rule" "we will not SUPPORT so and so as PM". Who the hell they are to dictate terms to the Indian democracy.
Why the some parties are running behind the Left. Only when the Left is removed from the Indian political scenario, the Indian Government can become stable.

The true history is still hidden intensionally. Get in touch with Prof. Purabi Roy, International Relation of Jadavpur University, she had an asignment from Asiatic Socity in 1995 about realtion between India and Soviet Union. When she exposed the real truth, she received several life threatening calls. However, she compelled the Central Government in 1998 led by BJP to start another commision led by Justice Monoj Kumar Mukherjee. The commision's findings were deliberately rejected in 2006 by Congress Govt. supported by Communists. If the real history comes out, there will be a severe turbulence in India and all these so called great leaders as well as Congress and Communists will be badly exposed, how they betrayed Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose. Read 'Mission Netaji'.

Please write a history book, with your grand ideas. The research of one academic proves nothing - there are thousands of doctoral theses gathering dusts in the Indian universities. What matters is the evidence of Subhas's colleagues and his family members (including his wife and child). It is absurd to think that the British, the Japanese, Russians, Nehru, the Indian ledtists and Subhas's colleagues and family members cooked up a grand conspiracy, and nobody knew it except a little-known academic!!
"If the Nano factory stayed in Bengal, how many people would have got jobs? Maximum 300. And how many farmers lost their livelihood? 20,000. Do the statistics justify the Nano factory?"
what about the wealth creation? taxes that govt would have collected? the factory itself may have 300 people, but the small scale sectors that supplied for nano factory would have created thousands of jobs....
Re: statistics
by anita r on May 15, 2009 12:01 AM
Wealth creation? What about the farmers who lose their land and livelihood? Why must the middle-class make their gains when thousands of poor struggle to survive? Farmers do not want to work in factories. Wealth creation sounds so simple and reasonable but in this country people who lose their land to the government end up starving. Is driving a cheap car more important than a family's life?
Re: Re: statistics
by Krishnendu Chowdhury on May 15, 2009 12:38 AM
Not wealth creation but distribution.Yes driving a small car is nt as important than afamily's life. But tell me if a factory is built will the middle class only benefit? Not the poor? Its absolutely absurd.
However, it seems you contribute to the idea that a farmers sons must be a farmer and never be a technician/engineer/accountant/manager/doctor etc. Distribution of wealth is a complex issue and has always been done by the centre along lines of Political lineage and advantage.
Re: Re: Re: statistics
by Tirthankar Ghosh on May 15, 2009 10:52 AM
A farmer's sons should not remain a farmer. He must have a chance to get employment in other industries. But for that you need to improve the education sector. With respect to education (Education Index as per the central govt., EDI) WB comes 3rd. from the bottom of the list. Govt. should have done some major work there instead of the Nano factory.

In a state where 98% land is cultivable, and where farming is no more a viable option (check the Arjun Sengupta report), where will the new industrial units grow up? Please be reasonable and forget emotions. Please also remember that more than 75% of farmers in Singur willingly accepted cheques for their land. Mamata made dirty politics with the minority farmers and stopped the project!

the story of 20.000 farmers is manufactured, and most of the farmers sold their land in haldia and accured land insingur for further benifit.in india only 20%revenue comes from land rest 80%comes from industry.if nano was born in singur at least 10,000 people could earn money and w.b would be pioneer in making car and other industries.
Re: statistics

Dear Darkblueglasses,
If you want to see the truth you need to remove those Darkblueglasses!
Here are the facts about the Tatas & Nano!
They got 9780 Cr loan @ 0.1% p.a. interest by the Gujarat Govt. i.e. if you calculate @ 11% bank FD rate applicable at that point of time, it is a clear subsidy of Rs.1,35,000 per car if you assume the capacity is 85,000 cars p.a.
Add to it virtually free land and Zero Registration charges and Zero stamp duty and near free water and heavily subsidised power.
All these put together the subsidy per car comes to atleast 2 Lac. And the customer pays 1 Lac for every Nano.
i.e. 1 Lac by customer & 2 Lac by the tax payer aggregating 3 Lac per car.
Nano is all about financial engineering and not Automobile engineering.
Do you think that lump of sheet metal worth 3 lac?
Tatas pocket 1.5 lac per car and politicians 50,000 per car.
Tatas Corus and Jaguar acquisitions are bleeding Telco and TISCO.

Its beyond understanding, how the people of West Bengal elect the Commies. It seems that they have got so used to a miserable life that they are afraid of a change for the better, of development and progress. In the 25 year rule of the Commies West Bengal has fallen from a developed state to a poor state. From being a most Industrialised state it has fallen to the backward state. It seems they like to live in misery and poverty. All the States in India are progressing axcept the commie ruled states of West Bengal ang Kerala.
Re: Good people under miserable commies.

Mr Pehelwan, I appreciate your concern for the people of Bengal. But, please allow mr to correct you on certain points: 1 - The left has been ruling West Bengal for 32 years, not 25 (from 1977) 2 - The left has a long history of organisations in this state. They organised the Tebhaga movement, by dar the most fruitful peasants' movement in India in pre-independence India. After coming to power, the left carried out Operation Barga, which means giving the rights of land to the cultivators, instead of the absentee landlords. This immensely boosted agriculture in the state. You may not know that the World Bank certified that the progress of agriculture has been the highest in West Bengal in 1980s and 1990s. The cultivable land in West Bengal is 98%, the highest in India. 3 - The left has always enjoyed the support of the intellectuals and the educated urban classes (though there has been some division in the recent past) 4 - Most importantly, no political party, other than the left, seriously thought about the 8 million refugees coming over to West Bengal after partition. The left, though not in power at that time, did their best to accommodate the refugees, while the Congress planned to send them to the Andamans!! The left has been reaping the harvest for these good works for such a long time. But, recently, they shifted their emphasis from agriculture to industry and the Trinamool tried to exploit some people's resentment for narrow ends.

I wish to spit on your face for your great comments, but I won't because I don't want to make my spit dirty.
Not only communists, but also, outsiders are also responsible for this sorry state of affairs, particularly the bihari migrants, these people are dirty fellows, making the Calcutta city filthy. Their dirty habits have contributed to bad image of Calcutta outside Bengal. They also take the locals’ jobs and these commies are allowing them to stay illegally to garner their votes. As a Bengali, I advice my other Bengali brethren, to kick them out of Bengal like AGP has done in Assam and Raj Thackery has in Maharshtra.

Nobody wants to go to Calcutta. The Commies have made it into a filthy stinking place as you mentioned.Bihar is progressing at a much faster rate than Bengal.Only people with dirty habits want to live in Calcutta under the filthy commies. Its a huge shit pot manufactured by the commies.

Biharis are no less than bangaldeshis. The former are even worst. Look what they have done to Bombay. And I want to avoid it to happen to Kolkatta. And about Bengalis you are talking about, even if they move to other states they live in harmony like sugar in the milk. Not like the Biharis and UP migrants where they create nuisance for the locals as they have done in Assam. Wherever they go they will increase the crime rate. Nothing else. Understood you dirty pehelwan of Bihari shit.

Hey you commie ball of shit. I have nothing against the Bengalis. Its just your stinking outlook.Bombay has nothing against the Biharis. It was just Raj Thakrey who raised this north Indian Bogey for his own political benefit. In Assam it is the Bangladeshis who are creating a stink there and not the Biharis. The crime rate increases where ever there are Bangladeshi settlers.I have nothing against Bengalis living in other states. But if Biharis or UP walas can be kicked out of Bengal then why not Bengalis be kicked out of other states. You get your grains from Bihar, raw material from other states. Each State in India is dependent on each other.Gert out of your Ghetto Mentality. You are not the only person living in India.By the way I think you have no balls at all.
