Our Bong-bondhus have nurtured these monsters for three decades and instead of sending them to Dhaka, have banged them on our heads in Delhi.

Prakash Karat should resign as chairman of Politburo!!!
by Flash Services on May 14, 2009 03:03 PM  | Hide replies

Comrade Prakash Karat should resign from the Chairmanship of the CPM Politburo taking the moral responsibility for bringing the party to such condition. He should retire and spend the rest of his life in China protesting about anything progressive about India. he will miss making deals in India and making money. He can take along with him his partners in crime Sitaram Yechuri, Brinda Karat, Biman Bose(3rd rate character), Buddhadev Bhattacharya, Nirmal Sen and ofcoarse Lakshman Seth. If they dont go on their own let Indians pay and send them forcibly.

There is no hope for left now ,which I think they will realize after the results are declared ,however I see no future for this mindset because the same mindset has been routed out in several contries including the recent one which is Nepal. The theory of these parties to bring people back to caves,by not allowing the tecnology to work and not accepting the new ideas which can bring a lot of hope for our poor people.Mr Karat ,if at all he has some honour left in him ,he should resign from politics and try to find some progressive party where he should work at gross root level so that he will also understand how a leader is made out of common people--not only by speaking good english.

It is a common practice at KGP. It is a regional institute. It should not called as a National Institute.

Check 80% faculties are Bengalis...as the Head of the Dept. never allow non-bengali to be in the faculty in IITKGP.

You may be completely wrong. Benaglis aar idle so they like teaching and research and preferred to be at their state. So is that. Similar to that IITm has maximum from south (mainly TN and AP).

32 years of misrule
by Trilok on May 14, 2009 03:02 PM

Now the time has come for the people of Bengal to awake and root out the present government. Until this is done Bengal cannot develop and flourish. It will riddled by the agitations, Bandhs, lockouts, closures and exodus of industries, political bickerings, atrocities on poor. The time has come for final assault.

I know for sure that most of the terminally ill patients of W.Bengal come to Mumbai,Delhi or Chennai for their treatment, however it is really astonshing to know that in Kolkata ,there is no big hospital and there are no compitent doctors who can treat heart disease,Kidney disease,Cancer or Liver failure patients even smaller hospital in other metro's treat the above patients very confidently and their results are very satifying and can be as best as U.S ----------Its big shame of left parties-THEY HAVE RUINED W.B.

What would be next move by UPA if they cling on to power
by durga on May 14, 2009 02:55 PM  | Hide replies

UPA has changed the emblem of the Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan from Lotus and shining Sun to Cross and Crescent. And this has been done in the name of “broader reflection of national ethos.” Board of Governors of KVS in its 79th meeting held on 26.6.2008 approved the new logo and a circular was sent to all offices and schools of the Sangathan on July 17, 2008, to change the emblem in all the publications and communications. Though the chairman of KVS, HRD Minister Arjun Singh did not attend the meeting, the minutes of the meeting stated that the emblem has been approved by the chairman. His deputy Shri Md Ali Ashraf Fatmi, Minister of State, HRD & Deputy Chairman, was also not present at the meeting. circular issued by the Asst. Commissioner (Acad I), KVS, said “in order to give a broader reflection of national ethos and ought (sic) to be inclusive of challenges, opportunities, rationalistic, scientific and global thinking, advances in science & technology & social changes taking place in the society” (sic) the new emblem has been created. The picture shows a book with blank pages, and apparently two human forms emerging from globe. The crescent (an Islamic symbol) and two crosses and stars (Christian) are obvious. UPA govt released coins of Rs 2 denomination with cross on them. There is move to change our national motto ‘Satyameva Jayate’

Don't believe
by Bhala Manoos on May 14, 2009 02:55 PM

Don't give any credence to these intellectuals. Mamta has become more leftist and anarchist( sometimes even supported by maoists), that is why the support. Ask anyone about the population control measures , stop illegal immigration, these will ppl will start barking. The real problem is extremely dense poulation ( due to breeding), this leads to unemployment, water crisis and everything. It is still easier to romanticize and write boooks.
