How can she ever think of becoming the next PM of India, don't we Indians have some self respect. Even in her dreams if she becomes a PM, she would replace every temple in india with her own image.

Dalit is not religion, so no question of conversions:
Many people here have repeatedly said that conversion is not the solution for the problems of dalits. Some said why I renounced dalit or hindu religion and joined Christianity. First of all Dalit do not have any religion and therefore no question of conversion arises. They too have right to have a religion and one shouldn't get offended by it. People say, educating dalits is the only solution and I agree to this point. My education has led me to choose the faith I want to practice and I joined Christianity as my way of life. Religion is purely personal matter and personal choice. People seems to be giving just suggestions, unfortunately solving the plight of dalits takes long time. They can be given edcucation, money but their social taboo wont go away easily. It needs decades and decades to forget the bitter past. I wish these people produce working models and mechanisms and solutions to uplift the status of dalits in due course of time.

Hi Mike , How you can say that dalits don't have any religion , that's your guys cheap tacticts to convert the people , did you read any puran orr atleast ramayana , they are the pillar of hindu religion. On the other way its well known how you christians (white) treats others , if you have visited USA or any european country , you already have seen this.

Just want to remind you that in India the religion not only gives god as well culture. For example just take any art form all connected to god and related stories. when they convert they loose all of them. simple we loose our soul.

mr. kalyan she is good for up.no need to send her us. obama is enough for them he is l(aaloo) of us.
mayawati is the first dictator coming from the b--h--a--n--g--i community.it reminds me of a story where a king is so scared of dying that he builds a tower around himself so that the lord of death cannot reach him.so the lord of death turns himself inoa worm and enters a fruit to be served to the king. when the fruit reaches the kingthe worm turns himself into a snake and thats it for the king.i think it is the beginning of the end for this egoistically bloated lady.

Some slight correction here. This massive cow will lock herself in a toi@let, where she belongs untill her own excretion chokes her.
Someone in this forum asked me what difference it has made after joining Christianity. To be frank it has made lot of difference in terms of lifting my social problems that comes with being a dalit. People around me treat well and also show lot of love and respect. They are always ready to help and also counsel in difficulties. Christianity is not all about money and fooling as many people here complain. I was not converted by anyone. I approached people and gathered information and finally made a conscious decision of joining Christianity. I am more happy than before. I made this decision thinking of my futiure generations and also to come into mainstay in society. Christianity has given me strength to live a dignified and wondeful life. What more do I need ?

But that time we didn't have psychopaths like Advani and Modi. And to Mike...Christianity is not a religion only but a greater responsibility where you would be always insulted for your belief.

Nazarwala is pro Mayawati, he wrote lot of articles during 2007 UP assembly elections. He is anti-BJP for obvious communal reasons but I am reading most of his articles and he is true supporter of Mayawati, he is pained rightly the way Mayawati has ruled UP. And he is quite right in saying that Mayawati will be shocked, and that too by BJP, none other. Wait till UP's results.
