may be true Pappu Bhayya. But among the available leaders MM Singh is the cleanest and best. He had defintely made many things reachable to commoner.
BJP had excellent leaders till 1999. after coming to power they were as bad as Congress.

UP = Ulta Pradesh

all the governments in recent times have been minting money. the society has been so much divided on the basis of caste that we will soon be requiring another Chankya to unite us.

I remember what Iqbal said

Na Samjhoge to mit jaoge hindustan walon
tumhari dastan tak na rahegi dastano mein

God save this country

Good Article!
by abhay abhay on May 13, 2009 01:30 PM  | Hide replies

The author has very accuratley painted the correct picture re Maya madam and her chances in the Lok Sabha elections!

There is no doubt that power has gone to her head and of late she has been day dreaming of becoming the PM of India!

Eligibility/suitability wise , she must be most UNSUITABLE candidate for the the post of PM of India! She must reurn to her village permnently to and take up the work left incomplete by her mentor.

I am scared...if she becomes PM, she will make mandatory for each one to have a pet elephant in house. My flat is very small and my dog can not adjust.

I think in our dalit constitution there is provision for anybody (men or women) to become prime minister but there is no mention for those lying in between. So even if ever Mayawati becomes PM by mustering the required numbers, Varun gandhi will immediately file a case in the supreme court to prove that "it" (Mayawati) is indeed "she" as it proclaims with a "Gillete presto clean Shave face".

I can understand your genuine fears! But,I feel you need be that apprehensive! Politicians in India have not yet reached such abysmal depths where they have to appoint her as the PM! Good luck!

absolutely true. As NCN had remarked-she may order that every one should keep an elephant at home. she will certainly do that.

I really dont think there is anyhting wrong with the article, he dipcted his views on the results and tiried to substantiate with the evidences.
in last two years there is no development in UP et all. power crisis, bad roads, water problem are all same. No company has gone there or wooed by UP government, no new mills have been established which can provide jobs to youth. If all reamin same then why vote for anynone - for gardens and statues...come on guys grow up.

Re: INDIAN MINORITIES STOP ABUSING THE MAJORITY COMMUNITY
by Red Pascal on May 13, 2009 03:04 PM
India is the only country where an 80% majority "claims" to be ill treated by a 13% minority. When that 13% minority has only 4% representation in the Army, the govt and the polce and the majority of the 13% minority is poor and ill educated. It takes some real inferiority complex to get this feeling, and incidentally Tamils in Sri Lanka are not 30% and neither are they all Hindus- Tamils in Lanka are about 17- 18% of the population there.

india is the only country where 80% majority are ill treated by 15% minority Muslims. in the adjoining Sri lanka, the 70% majority Sinhalese are annihilating 30% minority Hindus.

Nazarwala follows Mayawati very closely
by Anand Bharadwaj on May 13, 2009 01:20 PM

During UP assembly elections, Nazarwala had rightly predicted Mayati as the dark horse, when others were saying it would be a coalition Govt in Lucknow.
I personally take this author's analysis as authenticated information about Mayawati and BSP.
Again, Thanks for the author. Now I think the left parties will stop wooing her and wasitng public media spave and energy in stupid interviews and remarks....
