Sure the minorities are more safe than any under the rule of Bharat Jalao Party with bloody communal nationwide riots like Mumbai, Kandhamal, Gujarat etc instigated & sponsored by the Bharat Jalao Party. Not to mention the loud mouth Varun whose only solution to any prob is cutting off hands & necks. Also releasing a dreaded captured terrorit & gift wrapping him up & personally being devlivered as a gift who can come back 10 yrs later to create 26/11. Oh & the best of all Malegaon blast & their accused Pragya, Sadhvi, Purohit. Ofcourse the minorities are more safe than others in the eyes of the supporters of mass murdering Bharat Jalao Party only but the rest just know the truth.
India has had some highly incompetent and useless persons as PM! Chandrashekhar, VP Singh, DEv Gouda...to name a few!
The very idea that Mayawati should consider herself as the future PM of India, is laughable! Her calibre is that of a Gram Panchayat head, nothing more.
It will be in country's/UP's interest if she recognises her abilities and applies it where it is fit to be applied! High time she stopped daydreaming!
Think if by our country bad luck she will become PM what will she say to Obama while meeting in White House."please Sanction H1B Visa to 80 percent to Dalits,19 percent to other backward tribes & 1percent to General Peoples like Software Engg(which comprises general class)"

I know the struggle of living in a dalit community. I was a dalit before embracing Christianity. I knw the pain of dalits. Exploitation and deprivation from basic rights has made life miserable. No education, no money, no job and no place to live. Everywhere dalits are banned. They cannot move freely in society. They are mocked and people spit on them. No one wants friendship wit them. They are branded untouchables. Education and jobs are denied. Dalits are not allowed to have friendship with other students and people. Dalits cannot enter temples. They cant dine with higher class and cant eat in plates in hotels. Think yourself being a dalit and imagine how the society is treating you. You wont understand the pain unless you are a dalit. Think of dalits and help them to come up. Dont abuse them. It is easy to criticize dalits in power but since they are denied education and jobs for many centuries they must be given special concessions in order that they too come on par with majority. Competition of unequals is meaningless. Now my life is better. I hope other dalits also see the light and change their social stigma for their better future tmrw.

Dude i agree with u. but that was happening once upon a time. Why u r looking back about the bad things. Think about present and future, be confident yourself. I dont think now a days these things still happening to dalists in India. Who said dalits cant move freely in society, for your information they were very much allowed in the temple, hotels and everywhere. Better read some Swami Vivekanada's books.

Someone in this forum asked me what difference it has made after joining Christianity. To be frank it has made lot of difference in terms of lifting my social problems that comes with being a dalit. People around me treat well and also show lot of love and respect. They are always ready to help and also counsel in difficulties. Christianity is not all about money and fooling as many people here complain. I was not converted by anyone. I approached people and gathered information and finally made a conscious decision of joining Christianity. I am more happy than before. I made this decision thinking of my futiure generations and also to come into mainstay in society. Christianity has given me strength to live a dignified and wonderful life. What more do I need ?

Mr.Mike please do not use this forum for your Christian conversion programme. If you dare why not ask Mayavati to exclude the creamy layer from reserved list. And creamy layer defenition makes one laugh. Any one having more than 3.5 lakhs is only added in this list. First understand politicians. they are like some one wanting to enter and get a seat in a crowded tarin. Once they get there and occupy a seat they only think of a berth facility next and the crowd waiting outside. People like Narayanan or supreme court judges have all come up on their own and did not need crutches. Qualify and demand you defenitely will get your dues.

as if christianity is without any bias. catholics do not even sit with Protestants. Christian Priest is called Iyer. Christians do camphor aradhana ( visit Velankanni if want proof) If symbals represent God what is the difference between them and a Hindu.

DALITS SHOULD NOT LIVE TOGETHER IN VILLAGES BUT IMMIGRATE TO CITIES.ALSO THEY SHOULD NOT APPLY FOR JOB OR EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTION UNDER S C OR S T QUOTA AS IT WILL INVITE WRATH FROM OBC/MBC WHO ARE THEIR IMMEDIATE DOORSTEP. OC WILL NOT BOTHER BECOUSE EVEN IF THEY ARE VERY POORER,THEY KNOW THEY ARE WORST THAN DALITS. CONVERSION IS NOT A ANSWER BECOUSE EVEN IN CHRISTIANITY,THERE ARE MANY CHURCHES WHICH DISCRIMINATE DALITS AND ALSO TREAT THEM BADLY. This is inferior mind set of Dalit that drags them more than social stigma.Though lot of peaple like you have either changed their religion to christianity or Budhhism. This is not the solution. A revolution is required to upgrade the mindset that only can empower people .

So is Mayawati acheiving the upliftment of Dalits by buidling statues all over the state, has she been successful in buidling schoold, colleges with good facilities ?? What has she done with all the commisions that she has been & is receiving, has she used it to the betterment of Dalits ???

See that was past when this type of things happens,firstly ur not convinced that u born Dalit as u got changed to Chritian.It dosent means that if in 1984 sikhs are treated haterdly that they will change their religion & now muslims are seen as hatered sight it dosent means that they demand Minority Qouta & change their religion.If u was having Guts in ur balls then why u changed ur religion.Other Communities has Proved themselves.
