Mayawati

If public mood in UP is any indicator the TINA factor seems to be working there - THERE IS NO ALTERNATIVE - other than the corrupt SP and brazen BSP. People should soon bring to power eithrer the BJP or the Congress.

Mayavati may become a prime minister
by Deepak Khanna on May 13, 2009 10:36 AM

There is some chance of Mayavati becoming the Prime Minister but certain conditions need to be fulfilled.
Condition No.1: Neither the UPA nor the NDA will get the majority to form the govt on their own which is a distinct possibility this time.

Condition No.2:
The third front govt is not formed with left within the govt. The Congress(given the arrogance they have) are not likely to support a Mayavati govt. The BJP may support the Mayavati govt. from outside but it is never going to lend support if the Left is part of the govt.
Condition3: Left will support fro outside. This is the final condition that needs to be fulfilled. Here Mayavati will form the govt. only if left supports it from outside and then bjp will also support from outside.
This is the only way mayavati can be Prime minister.

Congress is almost absent in UP because:
SP woos the Muslims
BSP woos the Dalits & lower castes
BJP woos the Hindus
But Congress tries to be oversmart and tries to woo all of them as a result gets supports from none of them. :)
