Blunders of oldie Vajpai government
by Vijender on May 14, 2009 02:33 AM  | Hide replies

Blunders of the oldie Vajpayee, worst Primeminister of India are as follows.
1. Could not manage the defence deals in a proper way and introduced corruption in defence ministry.
2. Leaking of internal knowledge to stock traders close to the BJP.
Mismanagement of educational books and changing history
3. Inefficiency in handling terrorism
4. Lack of support for agriculture and farmers ended up committing suicides.
5. Corrupt leaders and murderers were allowed to join the cabinet. Could not kick out Modi even after he confessed to mass murder.
6. Foreign relations were at its lowest point due to the dark image of BJP. Could not gather global support for nuclear test and allowed pakistan to conduct nuclear test as well. Now we are in the critical situation where pakis nuclear weapons cud fall in talibans hand.
7. Were sleeping and allowed pakis to enter our soil officially during kargil and attack us. If not for well structured army, India cud have faced significant loses.
Many more blunders by vajpai and his team. Better to hide them under carpet. Or future generations will laugh at us if we remind them about it.

Guess what would be UPA’s next move if they cling on to pow
by annamalai on May 14, 2009 12:46 AM  | Hide replies

Very soon all signs of Hinduism Ashok chakra Lotus may vanish In a move that touches the pit’s bottom, UPA has changed the emblem of the Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan from Lotus and shining Sun to Cross and Crescent. And this has been done in the name of “broader reflection of national ethos.” Board of Governors of KVS in its 79th meeting held on 26.6.2008 approved the new logo and a circular was sent to all offices and schools of the Sangathan on July 17, 2008, to change the emblem in all the publications and communications. Though the chairman of KVS, HRD Minister Arjun Singh did not attend the meeting, the minutes of the meeting stated that the emblem has been approved by the chairman. His deputy Shri Md Ali Ashraf Fatmi, Minister of State, HRD & Deputy Chairman, was also not present at the meeting. circular issued by the Asst. Commissioner (Acad I), KVS, said “in order to give a broader reflection of national ethos and ought (sic) to be inclusive of challenges, opportunities, rationalistic, scientific and global thinking, advances in science & technology & social changes taking place in the society” (sic) the new emblem has been created. The picture shows a book with blank pages, and apparently two human forms emerging from globe. The crescent (an Islamic symbol) and two crosses and stars (Christian) are obvious. UPA govt released coins of Rs 2 denomination with cross on them. There is move to change our national motto ‘Satyameva Jayate%u201

Brave new alternative?
by Haramohan Ray on May 14, 2009 12:17 AM  | Hide replies

Where is the brave new alternative? If Mr Prakash Karat has the slightest intelligence in his head, he must have understood long ago (maybe even at the time when he withdrew support to the UPA government at the centre) that there will be no such brave new alternative known as the Left-led third front. In spite of being an ardent supporter of the left, I do feel that Karat & Co. have done a great mistake by withdrawing support and trying to stitch up a front with unpredictable politicians like Jayalalitha, Chandrababu Naidu, Deve Gowda and others. By doing this they have not only jeopardised the party's interest but also made a laughing stock of themselves. We remember that about 13 years ago, Karat and Co. did a similar blunder when they decided not to allow Jyoti Basu to be the Prime Minister of India.
I personally believe that the political acumen of one Jyoti Basu is immensely more than that of a dozen Karats.

Agreed. Mr. karat and company are not only loosers themselves, they have jeopardised the healthy communist presence in Indian politics and even further has jeopardised the possibility of a strong central government this time.

finally the loss is for our nation when we will go to poll again may be in a couple of years. This multi party system and opportunistic people like Karat, Naidu, Jayalalita is ruining the system.

The Left has ruined West Bengal for 32 years. Now they plan to destroy the country. They Shout that they bought industry in west bengal, those are just hoax. Most engineers move out of state for job like me to maharashtra, gujrat, blore and delhi. The misrule in bengal cannot continue and oneday die hard fans of CPM will understand that u gain nothing fron CPM. I see the difference between BJP, Congress and worthless CPM. Atleast i have a good living in another state.

Karat's Acid Test
by cm dhingra on May 13, 2009 11:18 PM  | Hide replies

Which Acid? As far as I know, Nitric Acid is the strongest among all Acids as it eats away everything within minutes. Let us hope a small test of that Acid is applied to see see what happens to Karat & Yechury Co. Pvt. Ltd. after 16th May 2009.
Morever, what a pity for celeberating May Month not May Day by these so called JNU Dropouts. Had Mao been alive, he must have vetoed this Acid Test certainly. But now, even Ghosts of Gopalan & Surjeet will rise and say - we do not need JNU Dropouts as they are too busy in making Third. Fourth & Fifth Fronts, without bothering much for WB & Kerala.

I could not agree further as you rightly hinted that these Yechurys, Karats and Biman Boses are the major forces to drive the existing best party of India to a wrong direction. Taking off the support from Cong, talking about 3rd front, making foolish remarks on nuclear policies were not supported by the bases of the communist party. Those unbelievably portrayed the dictatorship that karats and yechurys tried to work on.

if leaders dont potray the base of the party how can you say that CPM is the best party in india. You yourself contradict your statement. Wake up and see the world, how all other nations have progressed.

Partha: I did not talk about other nations, I talked about India which had been ruled by Cong/ BJP right wings without a major success over 60 years. At least the communist party still have leaders who are dedicated and idealists. I agree that the current leadership is the worst CPM has ever got (Biman/ Karat/ Yechury). Still they have better leaders than the Cong/ BJP has shown us over decades!! Except one/ two here and there, I did not see any leader from these two parties who are absolutely clean. I do not have any doubt that the commies are still the most disciplined and dedicated. Unfortunately they are not driven by caste based politics and hence failed to reach the Northern/ Southern states who just believe is caste as the bottomline.

Biman/Karat/Yechury- Dedicated Leaders? You are sadly mistaken. These so called leaders are expert in back room politics only. Have they ever dared to fight election. No never.
They are actually spoilers of the game. Even Budhadev Babu & Jyotibabu were in favour of not withdrawing support from UPA because they knew the electoral politics but these JNU dropouts were taking direct orders from China. Now even China won't come to their rescue when Comrades will be reduced to just 24 seats in WB and in the near future will be washed out from WB Assembly by Mamta. Even the brother-in-law Pronoy Roy won't be of much help now.

Commies always have best leader. In fact they had the best leaders ever, Stalin,Mao,Pol Pot,Castro all great democrats and uplifters of Human Kind. In fact the Bemgali version of Mao, our own Jyothi Basu, and the Castro of Bengal - Buddha Dev have done so much uplifting of the Bengali people, that Bengal is the richest state in India, tops in the per capita income, has a thriving industry and a poverty rate of zero. Let us look forward to enlightende Pol Pot type leadership in the rest of India

You are living & eating in India. Talk of Indian Leaders. The greatest ever Leader born in Bengal was Subhash Chander Bose. He single handedly fought the British Forces. What a pity that present day Bengali Leaders doesn't have minds of their own and are taking Dictation from China. Just having 1/10 of total seats of Lok Sabha, that too from two States they just want to rule over the whole country by their outside support. Pke5b

Communist Parties: Future of India
by Manojit Sarkar on May 13, 2009 11:14 PM  | Hide replies

WB very well understands that Mamata "Theatre" didi is not at all the viable alternative to the commies. It is trying to give the commies a big blow via the LS Elections, post which they can think of a reform and rectify it's mistakes. (Which are BTW with the senior politburo leaders and middle level workers.) Unfortunately the commies lack the leadership and as they do not work majorly on caste based politics like Cong & BJP & all south parties they were unable to reach the Indian mass across different North/ South states. Otherwise, India lead by the commies, would have been at a different level today. Perhaps not cash rich with thousand discos & IT giants, but a major force from within- a self oriented and self sufficient nation.

plea to Congress/Secular party Pls do not divide nation further
by Balaraman on May 13, 2009 10:36 PM

On religion language north-south basis
Latest in the series of controversies centred on the Congress party’s fixation with Muslim grievances is the data collection exercise involving the Indian Armed Forces.
It is irrelevant and mischievous to mention about caste-based divisions in the Army during the British rule.
Congress leaders not only divided the country politically but also militarily. The military officers and men of pre-independence India , belonging to all communities fought the WWII together under the British.

Pakistan got a ready-made army at its birth. When Indian Muslims got Pakistan they also got a Muslim army carved out of the undivided Indian Army. This army produced Pakistani generals and officers who fought wars with India — the first full scale war being in 1965. This is history in living memory.

The Congress party having divided and ruled the country for decades is continuing with its dangerous game and monstrous thinking of doing a head count for the Army now.

by India on May 13, 2009 09:18 PM  | Hide replies

he back stabbed vetran Somnath da & Budhhdeb Babu and followed policies which are not only disasterous for India but also for bengal ...

more than 70 % of left seats for MPs , are from bengal but he has destroyed the
party in bengal ,hijacked the polibureau so that he can enjoy power with UPA for 4 years...

he is a rascal and a crook of first order!!!!!

Left and Prakash karat
by shekhar singh on May 13, 2009 07:17 PM Permalink | Hide replies

Prakash Karat is the biggest S.O.B this side of suez cannal , if he had his way he would sell India to the chinese , and the people of India should never vote for a person who is so anti India and a deshdrohi.
he not only for his personal gains messed up with the centre and also made people of bengal suffer because of pulling out of tata from nandigram, he is like chandan basu so called son of jyoti basu , who where ever he has put his hand has been ruined.
So the I appeal to the public of India and specially the public of west bengal (which boasted of industries once and has gone to dogs now because of so called left front) to throw the commies out to the bay of bengal and that to the deepest part so that they can never ever come back on shores of india .
