Now time has come for the people of bengal to think differently. Congress should fight independently in bengal, it may give benefit in long run & will give a strong base in bengal.Peoples of bengal are now fade up with left or trinamool congress. It will be better for congress to struck ties with any political party of bengal
If they loose a few seats this time they will come back in greater power next time .. All these tall claims are because there is no space for communal and hate politics in Communist ruled states

Please do not make any sweeping comments without knowing anything about ground reality. Did'nt left front get any land for Nano project other than Singur (3 cropping area) Who prevented them from developing vast streches of West Bengal where water is available but otherwise land is disposable/fallow (suitable for industry) Who authorised them to institutionalize corruption & nepotism at every level (from panchayat to Writer's building)

Dear letsgo, allow me to answer. 1) In Nandigram, CPM cadres fired at common ppl. U CM has accepted that and we all saw the video footage of it on TV. 2) Both CPM & Mamta are responsible for Singur. Ur Laxman Seth started taking agricultural lands from ppl by force and when some ppl resisted, Mamta stood behind them and exploited the situation to gain political mileage. 3) Role of Javed Khan needs investigation as much as the role of the police personnel Ajoy Kumar, Sukanti Chakraborty & Krishnendu Das. 4) Why U tried to pull down Cong govt and now again talking of joining hands with them to form Govt.? Is it because you want power at any cost? Or is it because maintaining a double-standard is your only existence? 5) Why didn't you criticise China when they declared Arunachal as part of China? Why didn't you criticise Pakistan after 26/11? 6) What have you done to the tribals of Purulia, Bankura in last 32 years? Forget Purulia etc., what have you done for WB in the last 32 years? 7) What has been your stand towards Gorkhaland? Why didn't you bring this under control at the initial stage and allowed it to escalate? 8) Having clear view is something and doing something for the common ppl is something else. 1) in nandigram, when there was local resentment, the govt withdrew notification for land aquisition as early as jan'07... even then the maoist backed TMC people at nandigram cut up roads, kept police and govt machinery out of that entire area. they tortured people belonging to CPM and other non TMC groups.. those hapless people and their innocent families were exiled from their homes and land .. in the height of winter they had to stay in open air camps ! innocent police ( SIB) officers were kidnapped and hacked to death!no civil society manadrins ever said anything at that time!no medha patkar or anuradha talwar wept at that time!

when the police and administration tried to reenter nandigram( where in the world wud a govt tolerate this mini secession and sedition?)and rehabilitate the exiled families, the maoist backed armed TMC cadre put women and children in front and threw bombs and fired muskets at the police force.. the cops fired back as any police force anywhere in india wud have done under the circumstances!

Mr. Parijat & Mr. Shubhankar, open your eyes to the plight of the common ppl in WB. Opposing Mamta blindly will not help WB. If you continue to support LF even now, you'll get into deeper shit. True Mamta is no saint but she deserves a chance at least. After seeing the chaos and lack of Governance in WB, one wonders why ppl still vote for LF. One reason is ppl like you who are pretending to sleep and therefore impossible to wake up. Another is the cadre-raj which ensures LF victory by hook or crook.
In a democracy, it is important to have a strong opposition. It helps create a fear in the mind of the ruling party to lose their seats in following election. This fear makes them work for the common ppl. In WB u guys have been stupid to vote for an anti-Indian, pro-china party for last 32 years who has started taking you gyus for granted and enjoying their portfolios & the benefits without any work. How long do you want to live in the same sh!t?

I am not a TMC supporter. Also I know there is no leader in WB today. Perhaps you guys need to borrow someone (if its possible). Secondly I don't agree that we should allow things to change with time. I would prefer to take initiative. That's called "Vision". And a leader of the mass ought to be visionary.
I am a human because of my values. But I am an Indian because of my faith, belief, concious self. And, you guys have suffered for 32 years, perhaps you can afford to suffer for another 32 years (or maybe 64 years). But the common ppl can not. And that's why a change has become mandatory now. Illiteracy of TMC leaders can't be the issue here. Otherwise LF shouldn't be supporting jokers like Mayawati, Lalu, Mulayam etc. If you guys can support them, you might as well support TMC. And Mr. Parijat, if you and "letsgo" are same ppl, I think I've answered you properly already. If you've more q's, pls shoot. I do talk based on facts and figures to the extent possible to extract from the web. Therefore I would appreciate if you can quote facts & figures & the source too.

These comments are not going to hurt the common ppl. I can add something here which has hurt the common ppl of WB.
1) "Oppose English education" - Jyoti Basu in 1977. "It was a mistake" - Buddhadev in 1998 "English education should not be there in any university" - Sudarshan Raychaudhuri 2009
2) "Oppose computers" - Jyoti Basu in 1977
West Bengal opens its arms to IT - 1999
Both these mistakes cost WB & its ppl dearly. History remains the testimony to the millions of detrimental acts performed by the LF leaders.

If you don't like Commis than make or create a different party in your own state. Don't follow cowbelt for that every time.
