untill the Kerala catholic clique came to ORISSA< there was no problem. The Priests from Kerala started all the criminal activity like NAXALS and Rape and murrderr.
Dont know how they come upwith such conclusions. Day in day out wherever one looks caste is the underlying factor. I mean to even think dalits dont back Maya itself is a really crazy conclusion.
I agree caste factor alone will not make the winning proposition at Macro level like State / Nation. But the politicians (National and Regional parties) prefer to give tickets (candidates) based on the dominant caste except the reserved constituency. This formula is applicable to all the parties in variably. This has further dividing the society and polarization. True leaders with commitment, vision and uplift the basic needs of community is need not for 2% elite groups, but the remaining 98% deprived section. Parties’ manifestos are hypothesis. If adavnai could able to provide computer with Rs.10,000 to whom, even people doesn’t have safe drinking water, education become the business, doctors become the crorpathi, to whom they working….

Well , I whole heartedly agree with it , these parties are thinking that on caste ground they will win people's heart but let me tell that now the public has been more wise . I talked to many of villagers and all of them say that all the parties are befooling them and none is really careful about them . they say that all the leaders are the same be it advani mayawati or whatsoever ....... they are very innocent and if i told them that they should go ahead in the name of development they agreed with me I told them that whoever is talking about development and your welfare you should go for him and forget about all bjp congress parties they are not going to care for them they agreed with me . I am sure this time those who think they have befooled the public in the name of caste and religion will be lying down the bed .

All constituency results are Caste based. For ex: Bangalore south will be won by AnanthKumar, because Brahmins are plenty in south whereas Bangalore North will be won by CK Jaffer Sherief because Muslims are plenty in North. People blindly vote for their castes whether the candidate is Good or Bad.
Its a thought provoking article, a paradigm shift possibly. However, I do not agree that the younger generation does not associate with Rahul Gandhi. All, & I mean ALL youngsters that I have spoken to on political matters confess that Rahul is a different league and an IKON for them. We surely need younger leaders.
