No body can divide peace-loving people. Period. It is immaterial whether PC wins by a margin of 1 lac votes or looses by a margin of 1 lac votes. What matters most is that this man should have no further say in administration of the nation.

Simply the Thumb rule is Divide and Rule, still we are following the principles of East India Company that too after getting Independence from them

Congress & so-called secular parties are fully responsible for communal tensions within the country.

Chidambaram banks
by Raghavan on May 02, 2009 02:41 PM  | Hide replies

He has opened the banks only in his constituency and what about the people who are living in a remote place in other districts/state and why he has not taken any steps in opening the branches in those areas because he has concentrated only his own constituency and distribute the depositor's money by way of various loans to his own people and subsequently instruct the bankers to write it off. Unless or other wise sten action is taken against the irregular borrowers the banks finds it very difficult to recover the loan and any legal action is initiated against them it will take a number of years to get a favourable verdict by the bank and in the mean time using fake documents etc the borrowers will sell the property pledged with the bank and the buyer of the property will be on the road side. The law which is applicable to Co-operative banks for attaching the properties should me made applicable to all nationallised bank so that the banks can immediately take possession of the property and bring it to action and the borrower will also have a fear to avail loans from the bank and if availed will repay the dues promptly even by sacrifycing his one time meal.

An inflated bubble...
by TMS Virdi on May 02, 2009 02:41 PM  | Hide replies

We must not overlook the fact that the current govt. is trying to give as much rosy picture as possible in this current global crisis... Just to get as many votes as possible... What if the next govt. is elected and there are realistic job cuts and economic termoil? Since our govt. is under extreeeem pressure... as they waived over sity thousand crores of rupees of loan from the farmers and have doubled the salary of employee...

I fear the worst is yet to come and that too after the elections... The tough time for any ruling party will only start after the elections when this inflated bubble starts to burst!

by Rakesh Pandit on May 02, 2009 02:39 PM

Lets hope the voters have enough sense to destroy Chidambram once and for all.

He has become one man disaster for the nation in terrorist issue where Ajmal Kasab's trial has not even begun after 7 months of Mumbai attack !

He has kept US happy, Sonia happy, but not Indians. Chidambram has to to be shown the door this time.

Chidambaram is going to be defeated very badly. I am from Sivaganga district and I know how little he has done work for us. When he is not even fit to be a MP, how come he be a cabinet minister. Ridiculous!
