Chidambaram will be defeated
by r shan on May 02, 2009 02:35 PM

Chidambaram is going to be defeated very badly. I am from Sivaganga district and I know how little he has done work for us. When he is not even fit to be a MP, how come he be a cabinet minister. Ridiculous!

by Selva Pandian on May 02, 2009 02:27 PM  | Hide replies

Good Luck to Mr.Pa.Chidambaram. We all wish that he wins in flying colors. He is an asset to the nation. Our nation needs literates like Mr.Chidambaram who will steer India to the greatest heights in the world. I would request all the people from Sivagangai to support Mr.Pa.C and cast their valuable votes to him. People should not elect the most corrupted candidate who is contesting opposite to him Raja Kannapan who does not good character & conduct.

Hope you do not live in TN. PC has made good amount of money through his son who is managing minimum 25 companies & PC has a good share in India bulls Finance. He will say his opponent has money & he does not. Both he and his looted their clients for their advocation in many courts but did nothing to the poor & enmass.

Raja Kannappan is the most corrupt and illiterate candidate. He is not a fit candidate to become a MP. He has made plenty of money when he was a PWD minister in the JJ cabinet during 1991 to 96.

Rajakannappan aka earlier just kannappan is a dacoit he minted money as PWD minister from 91-96. He was sitting fine with DMK and all of sudden joined again JJ.

His candidature has certainly favoured the win of PC. Also the support of MMK a caste outfit of Mukkulothar plus the support of Yadav outfit run by tainted Gopalakrishan EX-CMD Indian bank will make Chidambaram win easy.

Kannappan could be described as the epitome of corruption and none could stand upto him excpet JJ. The support of MMK and Yadav is for the DMK led front will make things easy. But the truth is recently Gopal was sentenced to 7 years jail in a case, MMK led by Vandayar who is known for his aggressiveness.

PC may be a good HOME minister, but definitely NOT a good FM.His son has minted money surpassing Kannappan. He has eroded all small investors money & only his son (Kartik) has minted huge tons (comparable to YSR?) of money.

Humble plea to UPA Pls do not divide the nation further
by saraswathi on May 02, 2009 01:14 PM  | Hide replies

Latest in the series of controversies centred on the Congress party’s fixation with Muslim grievances is the data collection exercise involving the Indian Armed Forces.
It is irrelevant and mischievous to mention about caste-based divisions in the Army during the British rule.
Congress leaders not only divided the country politically but also militarily. The military officers and men of pre-independence India , belonging to all communities fought the WWII together under the British.

Pakistan got a ready-made army at its birth. When Indian Muslims got Pakistan they also got a Muslim army carved out of the undivided Indian Army. This army produced Pakistani generals and officers who fought wars with India — the first full scale war being in 1965. This is history in living memory.

The Congress party having divided and ruled the country for decades is continuing with its dangerous game and monstrous thinking of doing a head count for the Army now.

If only some 10% of Indian population realizes this stark truth, the reaction / repercussion would push a thorough Nationalistic movement to secure India in all aspects of National Life.
