If you own a Mercedes you should have reservation of 25% of its cost for low cost cars like Maruti or Nano, else small car companies will close...If you eat chicken or mutton you should have reservation for eating 25% dal else farmers will not be able to survive...If you wear silk you should have reservation to wear 25% jute clothes else jute farmers and mills will not survive...If you own a villa you should have 25% reservation to own hut...If you use bone china crockery you should have reservation for using 25% of clay pots (mitti ke bartan) and leaf plates (pattal)... and the list goes on! Is there an end to RESERVATION theory? Let it be on merit. Don't put spokes in running wheel!
In order for India to compete with the World and especially China it should have a free and fare competitivness in all spheres and sectors . The reservation game hadicaps the country and the real talent and intelligence is left neglected and then they go to other country. Reservation is making country weaker and important positions are being reserved for those with lesser IQ . It is also known that students in reserved category with lesser IQ cannot cope up with IIT & IIM curriculum and due to peer pressure resort to suicides . On the other hand deserving students with higher IQ are negelected and they too resort to suicides . Reservation is root cause of all evils in India and should be abolished forever . All politics is played in the name of reservation and division . Wake up guys we are over 60 years after Independance but still behave as if we are in still bonded . Has reservation really uplifted the benfeciary in these 60 years . NO! People with money have twisted and used for their own benefits .
In independent India, if we have not been able to provide level playing field for our own people in last ~62 years then how we are better than British Raj? If nothing happened in 62 long years what would happen now on??? The policy is same...divide and rule. The only difference is...Earlier it was British Raj now our own politicians!!! They are dividing the country and we can't see! No reservation for anyone! Build the nation on merit.
There should be no reservation for anybody including women. Only meritocracy should prevail. As far as the Economically backward are concerned, all possible financial help should be given from the tax money. BUT THIS DISEASE of RESERVATIONS perpetrated by our useless politicians must be eradicated forthwith

Brahmins or any Hindu after visiting a house where a death has occurred should take bath after returning home even if he has not touched anybody. But if he has returned after rubbing shoulders with all other community people in pulling the temple chariot with rope he should not take bath (this is for those talking untouchability) In Ramayan Rama was not a brahmin but Ravana was.

Each section of the community those days were prescribed way of living of which brahmin's were the toughest.

Vedas even prohibit any kind of worship! It does not make any difference wether you worship idol or vacuum!! The "formless" g0d was invented when people lost faith in Indra, Varuna, Agni,e tc.

then why Kshatriyas demand for reservation when they call themselves rulers, why reservation for SC/ST when they are from balimiki's family. My friend it's not about who say what, it's about social justice, just because brahmins don't have majority in voting power they are being denied of any improvement/aid. Why SC/ST reservation for a family who owns a 100 crore business for last 5 generations, and still they claim reservation seats in all fields..isn't this a SHAME !!!!!

Forget, Superiority and god! basically, I don't like the idea of reservation. It's sign of begger mantality! Atleast Brahmins should avoid asking for reservations. One should come-up with own efforts
The present evils of the present society is due to brahmins. They preached caste right from berth to death. Many people got converted ot christains or muslims due to the unequality preached by brahmins. when whole people stand together they stand apart by wearding thread and say they are holisting and all other indians are unholisting.Now they want reservation...shame...please vacate this country...let all indians live in peace

Senthilkumar AE, the conversions were not due to Brahmins or any one else. Some guys converted at the point of sword while some others converted for material gains or currying flavour with the rulers (European colonzers). Some guys even converted for a few kgs of rice and cheap American milk powder. If the conversions were due to Brahmins, there would not have been any "dalits" in Kerala where the missionaries were very active or in UP and surrounding areas where the 1slamic invaders ruled for nearly 600 years.
