I'm an atheist, but frankly I find Seema Mustafa to be no better than a Pakistani. She even labeled Barack Obama as intolerant and a puppet of Israel. She's the one who's intolerant. She keeps calling others intolerant and communal, but she's the one who's intolerant and communal. Seema Mustafa has no credibility, and the fact that Rediff gives her a platform to spew her communal views in the guise of "tolerance" shows how Rediff has degenerated as a publication.

what's mayavati's vision of india? apart from dalit empowerment? likewise with the third front. saying that they have to keep the congress and bjp out of power is not enought - that is a dangerous joke. whoever wants to form power at the center needs to clearly express what they intend to do when in power - in the economical, security and social fronts. and also why they think that is beneficial to the country.
a clever thief is better than a good and stupid person. both congress and bjp wallas are clever thieves. but mayavati is neither good nor stupid. but she is not a clever thief either. with dalits all over india why is she still not able to make bsp relevant nationally? that is because she and her advisors lacks a national vision. when she has that the bsp will become a national party and will be a suitable contendor for national polls. without a national vision it is dangerous for the bsp to take power at the center. it will lead to chaos which we cannot afford with recession and the taliban at our gates. it is a pity that most indians are not able to tell the difference between national and regional issues.
the author creates an impression that bsp is a regional prty. its more representative and more nationalistic than the bjp or congress.bjp had 2 mps in 1984(just 25 yrs ago)and the presence of muslims/christians are almost negligible. compared to it bsp has leaders from all communities and religions and a look of its various state presidents will reveal it.

first regional parties followed by minorities,dalits/obcs etc as they all doesnt have a ?national outlook and care more for their respective communities

regional parties only should be voted to power to form govt in the states and a coalition of regional palties to form the govt at the centre the pseudonational parties which grow talking nationalism and harming the nation with spread of hate should be defeated by people in the election
