You must VOTE for candidates from your CASTE only.
by New York on Mar 30, 2009 12:03 PM

* Only he can UNDERSTAND your culture and IMPROVE your socio-economic status.
* And do not worry if he is CORRUPT.
* You must vote him till 85% of all registered marriages in India are INTER-CASTE or INTER-FAITH.

This is the only way to STOP India from dis-integrating.

Its fashionable to blame Congress for everything
by vijay patel on Mar 21, 2009 06:34 PM

Its become fashinable to just blame Congress and wash our hands off without thinking.

India was always a mixed race culture with 25% M uslims and 75% Hindus consisting of all class, culture and creed before independence. However Congress did its best to stop conflict between M uslims and Hindus and agreeding to division of India. How could India accept Jinnah as PM. In future we would have fought like hell, if there was no partition. Congress did a lot for Dalit and OBC by trying to integrate them with mains streem Hindus by giving reservation and uplipting them by giving equal status. If not for this Hindus would have been divided.

During independence we had just 350 mill now 1 billion people and famine all around, imports of food and starvation, no industry, no education institute. Infact we started to manufacture first care only in 1957 that was Fiat and Ambassodor. We had no well equiped army to fight China and the society was divided. It was a big task to build a cohesive society and democracy. They were people with integrity. Then came IITs, IIMs, ISRO, Atomic bomb, BARC,BHEL, SAIL, over 75 big dams, green revolution, Amul dairy and plenty of milk, IT industry with well educated people, worlds biggest army and a very powerful nation as we are today and we take all that for granted. Today we are self sufficent and produce almost every thing for which we must be gratefull to our great leaders who were dedicated inspite of hatred being spread by small groups.

Congress is a clear choice
by vijay patel on Mar 21, 2009 03:13 PM

No doubt that Congress is the clear choice being truly national and all inclusive party which talks for Hindus, Muslims, Sikh and all other religion, OBC, Dalit and all region. Its a party which does without fear of loosing votes. It has brilliant economist and politicians who provide a very balanced policy in the interest of the nation.

While all other parties are trying to come to power by spreading hatred for other community and region. BJP only talks of Hindus, Shiv Sena of Marathi manoos, BSP for Dalit and Brahmins, Jaylalita Karunanidhi and Modi for Tamil Nadu and Gujrat, SP for Yadavs and Mus lims, RJD for Yadavs and backward caste, Paswan for Dalits again, Patnaik for Orissa and Communist for some ideology which hates USA.

So its clear that Congress is only truly pan natinal party and would be in the interest of India if they rule.

Congress may haves some defect but overall its a very decent party.

Choices of Prime Minister.
by sant narasim on Mar 20, 2009 12:53 PM  | Hide replies

MMS: puppet of sonia, no leadership qualities, speaks like a recorded cassette. no political experience

Sonia: former bar dancer. reads from paper (prepared by somebody). no political experience. Never speaks clearly about anything. always being controlled by a secret group of backroom people.

Rahul: mentally retarded drug addict. reads from paper (prepared by somebody). no political experience. Never speaks clearly about anything. always being controlled by a secret group of backroom people.

Advani: 50 years of political experience, built up the parties Jan sangh & BJP from grassroots level, hard working, strong willed, can speak clearly about issues, powerful orator, won lok sabha elections 8 times. has complete control of party and govt. do not allow anybody to control him.

Congress: always fight against alliance partners. bitter quarrels in seat sharing. lost out to small regional parties. still has ego, arrogance, foolish imagination about single party rule.

BJP: helps and supports alliance partners. Generous in seat sharing. have permanent alliance for 20 years.

Select yourself.

False Rumour
by sant narasim on Mar 20, 2009 12:40 PM

Regarding the rumour:

"One is not even clear the Shiv Sena would stand by its partner BJP if Sharad Pawar stood a chance to get the top job for he is a Maharashtrian".

Thackerey created Shiv Sena to oppose congress, whose biggest leader was pawar, and now Pawar's NCP is ruling in alliance with Congress for last 8 years.

If Shiv Sena supports Pawar, then Shiv Sena will split into 3 parts.
One part will join BJP, second part will join Congress, third will join NCP.

With this, only a fool or a liar will say that Sena will support Pawar.

Why the 150 year old Congress party depending on these regional parties ?

To make a new law, it needs 2/3rd majority in lok sabha. can congress get it on its own?

U can't restrict peoples freedom to select which party they want to vote.

If only one party get majority in the Elections then no one will be able to oppose their stupid decisions.....Good that the govt remains unstable..so that they would take the right decisions.

India is not country to be mature enough to have a full majority party.

An Majority party would sell india to in name of FDI.

We request all voters to cast their vote either to BJP or Congress so that these major parties bring maximum numbers of their MPs so as to avoid horse trading and corruption.

You idea seems most sensible and workable and also would cost less to election commission. Importantly people with same ideology will fall in bracket and we need not have Mayawati or Paswan as separate champions of SC/ST or Advani or Thakrey will have same platform to bark while secular parties will share same platform.
