Hell with such Leaders
by RAKESH DOGRA on Mar 19, 2009 12:21 PM  | Hide replies

If Ram Vilas Paswan still thinks that he should be be made PM just because he is a prominent Dalit leader.
Today leaders like him who are not good enough to ne even junior level ministers are eying for PM's post just because he or she is Dalit,Muslim, woman or even Yadav.
This election will force people to think about changing parlamentary system which ha become a joke now where there is no collective rresponsibility,PM is nominated and reports to Sonia Gandhi rather than to parlament. He can not choose his ministers. He has to take even some idiot in his cabinet because he may be controlling few MPS.
God saves our democracy.

Casteism which is much more dangerous than communalism is openly favoured even the age old pseudo secular does not mind syaing using terms like dalit leaders which is done for fractionalising the hindu votes. To keep the hindu votes divided amongst the various regional parties so that the congress can get the votes of pseudo secular fools and muslims.

this is ample proof that politicians are not interested in the uplifment of dalits but only for their own power they are doing this division in society in the name of Muslims, dalits, SC,ST,OBC, etc

God save the country if mayawati becomes PM
by shailendra mishra on Mar 19, 2009 12:17 PM  | Hide replies

I hate to say this but, she has the money and the numbers to take on the reigns of the nation. She will be major party in the third front and recently she has amassed 100s of crores in form of her Birthday donations given by the MPs and MLAs, Policemen etc. She is going to use that money for horse trading.
So I think its in the nations interest to vote congress to power and give them a chance again, personally i feel they have not done all that bad.

People have no choice today
by gaurang patel on Mar 19, 2009 12:16 PM

Today there are only two options:

i) Congress & ii) bjp. One party is 100% concerned for Muslims while other party is more concerned for Hindus. Both parties have more -ve points then Ve points. Both parties have failed to properly project their prime ministoral candidate. If Bjp had projected Modi then their chances of winning would have increased. Similarly if congress have projected Rahul Gandhi as their PM candidate then they would have won. But both parties have failed to do so. Advani...is 80 yr old who has the habit of bluffing when it comes to international matters. Remember the episode of Jinnah. While current congress man Manmohan is really very soft. When he speaks it looks like a coward is speaking. There is no sense in his speaking. It looks like a duck is quacking. But when Modi & Rahul Gandhi speaks everyone listens. They both have gr8 communicate ability. I don't have much choice beyond this two parties but one thing is clear. People should give clear majority this time to any of this party because now the regional parties have started to blackmail them. Whether its congress or bjp they both have problems in their allies. This time a clear mandate should be given to either of the two.
