Voters Choice
by arungopal agarwal on Mar 20, 2009 11:11 AM  | Hide replies

We request all voters to cast their vote either to BJP or Congress so that these major parties bring maximum numbers of their MPs so as to avoid horse trading and corruption.

You idea seems most sensible and workable and also would cost less to election commission. Importantly people with same ideology will fall in bracket and we need not have Mayawati or Paswan as separate champions of SC/ST or Advani or Thakrey will have same platform to bark while secular parties will share same platform.

Dear Arungopal,

If only one party get majority in the Elections then no one will be able to oppose their stupid decisions.....Good that the govt remains unstable..so that they would take the right decisions.

India is not country to be mature enough to have a full majority party.

Who do you vote for?
by Srinivasan Iyer on Mar 20, 2009 08:39 AM

My personal feeling after deep thought is that coalition Govts do not work unless all the constituents have a clear common minimu7m programme. Having any hidden agenda like Ram temple etc is not a common agenda! Regional partie4s usually do not have any national policies and only work for their own State. It is not wrong to look after one's state but there must be support for national policies. Other parties who are there for personal position as PM ort what not should not be encouraged unless they can get support for their own party nationwide with at least 100 seats. My suggestion is go for the national party candidate provided he/she has the credentials to be a good MP>

Cong not keen to accept Hindoos who fled from Pakistan
by akchatte on Mar 20, 2009 07:48 AM

Because our great economist with a higher degree in licking, Mr. MMS says "minorities have first right in everything in India".

I am sure Cong still will keep on keeping mum on illegal Bangladeshi and Pakistani migrants. But will deny visa to these poor oppressed Hindoos.

Likewsie, they will keep mum on Afzal Guru. While will talk of hanging Sadhvi.

And, will keep mum on Sikh riots and only talk about Gujarat.

And will keep mum when they escort terrorist on Mufti's blackmail and talk about releasing Masood to save 100 innocent passengers.

Will keep mum on Bofors, Fodder, Satyam and only talk about an imaginary Coffin scam.

Will keep mum on arresting Dawood and talk of pubs.

Will keep mum when Tamils are severed in Lanka and stand first to criticize when US attacks Iraq or Afghanistan.

God save us. I do not have any will to appeal to Hindoos to stand for themselves. As I know, we are the most spineless community of the history. We are coward, in the name of softness. We are ignorant, in the name of Gandhi. We are selfish, in the name of caste. We are mean, in the name of language. We are myopic, in the name of vision. We are pseudos in the name of secular.

History will write itself against Hindoos as the race of neo-Nero, who played violin watching his Rome burning.

God save us, again

by Grizzly on Mar 20, 2009 06:35 AM

All other parties have proven to be nothing but corrupt chamchas.
BJP can openly speak about issues faced by majority Hindhus. Only BJP has the guts to fight for us and give us a peaceful and prosperous India.
Wake up people as the enemy is in our house.

No one is people choice
by Jafer Sadique on Mar 20, 2009 03:58 AM  | Hide replies

Exactly this is happening every where.Candidates contesting from constituency ,all are far below expectation but people are bound to cast their valuable votes to either of them. And winner will be called people's leader.I dunt agree.I can only get convinced and understand the meaning of democracy if one more choice exist in voter pad at last that is NONE OF ALL.If last one get maximum votes then all contesting candidates deposits should be held and Election should be redone by these money co'z why country bear for this.By this way Real meaning of Democracy can be defined

that will be a good start toward positive change. Though I have never been able to support Cong, but I agree, regional forces are the real danger in India.
