One solution to this would be to add an additional option in the Candidate List. That is "None of the Above". Atleast one could express themselves by disapproving of all the other candidates as compared to not voting at all.Though the number of votes casted in favour of "None" should not effect the results of the election, atleast it would send a strong message to people that there is a need for good candidates to join politics may be as an Independent and may be next time around more good people would be encouraged to join politics which would gradually change the political scenario of this country in the years to come.

There already exists a form (i guess its 49A) with each Polling officer at each and every polling booth. In case you feel there are no deserving candidate, then you can ask the polling officer for this form. If a majority of the people use this form, then none of the politicians from that constituency can stand for elections again.
But the sad part is that not many people know about it.... i guess now that you know, you can use it

The Mumbai voter is pampered with luxuries.. so to improve turnout make things comfortable, make all polling booths air conditioned, serve free ice cold limbu pani to all in que, have valet parking for all those who self drive to the polling booth, set up mandals with fans so people dont have to stand in sun and make voting online for the few very literate who refuse to step out of their airconditioned houses,,, most important dont keep elections so that it is clubbed with holdays like this one .. imagine 30th, 1st may holday, 2nd saturday and 3rd sunday a nice big 4 day weekend.. mumbaikars went on holiday to goa, to Bangkok Singapore and to Nepal maybe even Goldcoast Australia or the French Mediterranean.. so the low turnout ..

the south guys have black highly sun tanned skin and this can withstand even 48 degrees in the sun, most of us are fairer and our skin delicate, which cant bear the sun.. so lower turnout

After you released us we planned several attacks on india like akarsdhaam, parliament, Train blast in mumbai and the Mumbai 26/11. we tried our best to use the money which you gave us.
And yes, please do convey my thanks to Mr. Jaswant Singh, who personally eascorted us in the government plane along with the cash. it was good talking to him and exchanging the views.
Please do come to power as we would like to do business with you again and we do have some of our people in indian jails and need some hard cash to plan more.

if none of the baove gets lead in aconsituency then all the canidates should lose caution and should be barred from contesting.
