hope

i had lost all hopes for my lovely country. i am no more proud of it.

i am behaving well, follow rules but what about others. for how long should i wait for others to correct themselves before i loose my well behave.

just today when i was coming following left side of well divided left/right road, one car came suddenly from front which was running on wrong side. i waved to him like i was asking why he is beaking rule and coming wrong side and he just waved at me back like he is saying he is all right and instead i should check myself. such incidents are normal.

i love my country but i alone cannot change it. i need everyone's help.

No one should be allowed to contest election who talks divisive language or spread hatred at least for MP position. Similar reforms are required for others too.

If not for MP position, then for which position is it allowed to talk in a divisive language or spread hatred?

politicians shouldn't be given a wage; a pension; security ( unless and untill; it becomes absolutely necessary ); he /she will have to bear their own travel expenses; pay their utility bills; purchase / rent their own accommodation and in the five years of their term cannot invest or make money transfers. it seems like its becoming a natural progression for film stars and other celebrities to enjoy being a member of the lok sabah after their hay days; it should be made one of the most serious and toughest jobs so that people think twice before occupying a seat in the lok sabah or vidhan sabha; as of now; the rajya sabha and the presidents seat is a big joke! these seats should be like "hot seats" with accountability and dedication. its not a seat where 60 senior citizens retire peacefully.

POLITICIANS
by v vv on Apr 16, 2009 10:46 AM

Most of the Politicians are very good people, and entering politics to do good for the people. Unfortunately, once they are in and in a powerful seat, the Bureacrats who are associated with them corrupt their minds, and make them to commit all crimes. To begin with, we should reform the Bureacrats / Government Office Staff / Judges / Doctors in the Government Hospitals / well educated Govt servants, and teach them the ethical practices, so that they can be reformed and will stop corrupting the good politicians. A good Minister cannot sit in his seat even for a day, as the Secretaries/Officers will make them to be corrupt; if they do not succumb to their pressures, the Minister will be out because these bureacrats will give wrong publicity and bad-mouth about the Minister, and the Minister's image will be spolied. ALL POLITICIANS ENTER THE ARENA WITH GOOD INTENTIONS, BUT THE EDUCATED MAFIA SPOILS THEM.

Gov can bring some reform bill on politicians
1. Recognise politics as Industry where politicains and members survibe by doing political parties
2. There must be reservations for at least 200 seats to be won by ordinery public with out any political clouts
3. Irrespective of any Gov ,6 to 7 ministers should come from expert fields who will directly report to PM only
4. In future PM should not be oblized to obey political Instructions from the party and may be kept unbiased like speaker post for day to day administrative decission except any political decession taken by the party

If we can bring such bill in future then I am sure our political system will be with less corruptions and smooth function of Gov

"Work is Worship to God" should be preached in big way. If you want to learn something from the West learn their professionalism at everything. We need professionals like in a company to run the nation. We dont need politician/beareaucrats/ministers to run it. India should be run like a professional organization with a CEO at helm. Only then it might prod forward with development in mind. Else we can forget the India we wish for in future.
