Who wants the left?

The CPI-M is going to get the least number of seats this time ever in Indian political history. Even the CPI will revolt against them after the election.

Karat will have a tough time even reaching the answering machines of third front leaders the day after elections.

Thats right. In fact no politician gives much weightage to Karat even now. Its just the China sponsored media who keep singing about Karat and the communists.

Left rules out post-poll support to Cong-led government
by Hebbar R on Apr 15, 2009 10:21 PM  | Hide replies

The Left have a right to take any decision that they want. But, can they enforce this on the other parties in the Third Front? If they cannot, then the Third Front has a ready reason for breakage. Not that that would be needed if the NDA comes to power.

How long they will keep BJP out of power. BJP already dominating Indian politics...

Pathetic congress is seeking support from Left, their once arch rival after every election..

Left & Congress will cooperate with each other definitly.
by kesireddy sreedhar on Apr 15, 2009 10:20 PM  | Hide replies

Left will definitly support Congress to keep BJP out of power in case third front could not manage to form the govt. If the situation is so crucial, then Congress will support from out side the third front to form the govt only to withdraw the support after two years to bring fresh mid-term elections.
Both Congress and Left are making the Indian democracy a joke in front of the world.

after elections left/UPA/third front will all come together to keep the BJP out of power. And they will all say that they did it for secularism. Watch out for this drama on your favourite news channel on 16 May!
the only way this will not happen is if BJP crosses 200 seats.

Where is the question of Congress led Govt. after Election. Likewise people should also keep Communists away. Minus Congress and Minus Communists anything is fine.

BJP and Congress should form government together and free this country from all communists as well as 3rd 4th 5th ... fronts by having a common development agenda. Once the country is developed communists will face the political death themselves as it happened to communists in USA
