u r living in the world of utopia..u should start reading newspapers first..the maoists are getting chinese help and have already made a safe corridor starting from nepal down to andhrapradesh...u r basically supporting the maoists who r more inclined towards and getting help from the chinese ,rather than the left...now mamata ,gurung,maoists have all ganged up and stopping development works in westbengal as they know through elections they will not come to power...all those nonsense talks about scientific rigging does no good to the educated people of westbengal
This Might sound like something very impractical and imposible but what the country needs badly is for the BJP and Congress to come together and provide a direction to the country. The "Third" and "Fourth" front is a danger for the future of India. The politicians of these parties do not have any vision. They are just opportunists and need to be kept out of national Politics.

exactly, how do we keep them out? simple, by not voting for them. i thought villagers and illeterates were street smart; they'd take money, blankets and liquor and never vote!

You and me may not vote for the 3rd and 4th front but the rest of India will. If BJP and Congress come together, they will be strong enough to not require the help of any other small party. BJP and congress may have different ideologies, but they are still the best of what India has and neither will be in a position to form a government of its own without the help of the small"thugs" like Mulayam, Amar Singh, Jayalalita, mamata etc...

there must be a framework to keep this compromise in "check" or the party faces immediate disqualification. also governments and politicians must function under performance metrics. a autonomous body of individuals along with popular public opinion and the presidents consent must keep politicians and their functioning on the right track.
parties like the cpi(m);trinamool, aiadmk,tdp,jmm,ljp,shiv sena,mns,sp,bsp,janta dal and plethora of other parties at the state level along with independents should be ignored by people; they must be used only at that level. people should now learn to use the government for their benefit and not the other way round. so vote only for the BJP this time around and save everyone from the embarassment of a hung parliament and horse trading.
The congress is the most opportunistic party; a party without any morals, scruples and guts. Just to keep the BJP out they formed a alliance with the communists with whom they have always had serious ideological differences and DMK a highly parochial, communal minded and anti Brahmim party a party in whose tenure Rajiv Gandhi was assasinated in TN. It was because DMK has always had a soft corner for the LTTE. It is good that at least now they have realised their folly and moved out. They should seriously allign with the third front and give ahealthy competition to the Congress. Whoever comes to power should have the country's interests at heart. Jai Hind S. ravindran
You will going to form a goverment with post poll allience with Congress. It's your tradition that before election you are against Congress and after that "brother in arm". This is going to happen again.
And your excuse for this is already ready as "To protect the nation from communal forces we are going to support congress"
They alll will unite to keep the nationalists oops "Communal Forces" out of power and communists will extend support from outside in national interest, like what Nitish Kumar is also planning to do!!
