I have no hatred for MH people in general. Many of my good friends are maharastrian. But you better be proud of being India and not just about one state. Try to understand where you stand today instead of talking about history.

In Northeast there was nothing for which moghal would visit it... or try to capture it.. on the contrary..in maharashtra we have good agriculture good forts ..good system in place put forth by shivaji.. .. everything starts from base you.. if you say mumbai has port thats why it is developed. but gujrat also has ports from starting , kerala has , karnataka has..
It is the people of the land defines the success.. Kolhapur has the first film industry..later it is shifted to mumbai and now hindi movies started there.. I like hindi ..I like all religions.. I like indians ..I want my country to be the best among the world...
but it is my perspective that people who come from outside need to more aware about local peoples needs...and they should help them ..

Many election have been conducted in modern India, on the basis of Democratic process, and we have seen that power has changed from ne party to other, but the ruling Castes have not changed. There are many reasons for this. And one of the important reasons, is Brahmin-Baniya Print Media.
Simply by change of power, there cannot be a change of system, because, we have seen a change of power many times. By keeping control of ruling castes over the power structure, we cannot bring change of system. Whether t is opposition ruling castes or ruling - Ruling Castes, their interest are not different. Those, whose interest are common, whether they are in power or not, they have consensus in maintaining the "Status-Quo". Therefore, to remove control of the ruling castes from power structure is a pre-condition to bring change of system. On 21stMay 2001, the Times of India published a news that the Brahmins, Kshattriyas and Vaishyas are not Indians; they are foreigners (Aryan Eurasians). Michael Bamshad who is the Head of Department of Bio-Technology at Utah University (Salt Lake City, USA) conducted this research based on DNA (Deoxyribo Nucleic Acid). Michael Bamshad conducted this research with the help of Bio-Technologists from Anthropological Survey of India, Madras University and Andhra University, Vishakhapatnam. This research is free from any bias as it was done in collaboration with Indians. It is a result of the Indo- US collaborative research project on the genetic evidence on the origins of Indian caste populations. This research absolutely establishes the fact that the people belonging to the Brahmin Varna are foreigners. As this research is based on DNA, it is beyond dispute. Brahmins could not oppose it so they had to approve of it. Some Brahmins like Jay Dixit have even started to find their roots in foreign lands on the basis of this research. This research proves that the DNA of Brahmins in India is 99.99% (genetically) similar to people living near the Black Sea, a Eurasian region close to Russia. The documented history of India needs to be rewritten on the basis of this scientific research. It was invasion and not migration. On the basis of the analysis of Mitochondrial DNA it has also been found out that the women in Brahmin homes are Mulnivasis (the genetic make up of females suggests )
