Milind Deora also like other Congress craetures/only power
by sivasubramanian on Apr 11, 2009 04:53 PM

What i feel is any wrong doer should be punished for ever in politics, that is throw them ever from power,
What is the right the congress has to rule,
See they have got only 184 seats and still they want to rule the country by crook.
Now these young crook is telling it is not terror attack on Mumbai/Maharastra, but on india ?
He is still not accepting the congress failure to save the people and nation,They refuse to take any action on convicted terrorist, they refuse to implement strict law on terror supporters,They supported and aligned with Dawood who is the maharastrain who joined the pakistan to destablish marathi and india,
All are just because of congress party,Everybody knows many congress politician were in his payment roll and are part of his anti national activities,So e should feel honest and ashamed of his party and should giveup contesting in the middle of campaign.Further if maraathis vote for congress even after their 5 years of misrule ancorruption,Even bhagavan KRiSHNA can not save india.

A new shark in the pond, thats all

I like Rahul Gandhi's approach to meet the masses in the rural areas for last 3 years now. Thats what we need, investing time in trying to reach out to as many people as possible before running for election seat. First these budding politicians should win the masses confidence by trying to reach out to them.

I certainly don't expect this apprach from an Boston graduated guitarist turned politician. so what if he is young? Our democracy is matured and we need someone who at least tries to invest some time with the rural masses before hogging the power hungry limelight.

North Indians disenfranchising Marathis in MH
by atlanta magic on Apr 10, 2009 05:25 PM

Milind Deora, what's your stand on Marathis getting dis-enfranchised in their own linguistic state ???

UP Bihaari politicians with their dirty undeveloped feudal casteist political culture have made a mess of their own states. So much so that there is MASS-MIGRATION of educated and un-educated people from these states to better developed states like Maharashtra.

This migration has reached such an extent that today UP Bihaaris outnumber Marathi voters in 4 out of 6 constituencies in Mumbai.

UP Bihaari migrants have not assimilated with the local culture and language, instead with the strength of their numbers have been politically active forming a vote bank and calling politicians from Hindi heartland like Lalu, Amar, Maya who are worse regionalists.

Today Marathis are in danger of being disenfranchised in their own linguistic state ... and by whom... those same UP Bihaari politicians who have made a mess of their own state and now want to make a mess of Maharashtra by grabbing power here.

Why Indians are QUITTING Hinduism and not other religions?
by New York on Apr 09, 2009 12:34 PM  | Hide replies

Hinduism intrinsically breeds HATRED among Children.
Hinduism's caste system is a religious-based system of separating groups and keeping one class (Brahmins?) over everyone else.

In America there is no system in place today that forces people to remain separate or keeps one class subservient to another.
If you were born the son of a street sweeper, but excelled, you could become a doctor or lawyer or some celebrity or entrepreneur - and at the same time you would be fully accepted by your peers.

Not so in India. The caste system freezes everyone in place. It is extremely difficult - almost impossible - for someone from the lowest caste to rise in education and social status.
A Dalit would never be allowed to marry into one of the higher castes and would never be accepted as an equal.
And for a Dalit to make it into medical school or opening a restaurant or become a member of high society in India is very rare indeed.

Only by escaping from the grasp of Hinduism do they have much of a chance....
Alternatively, you must vote for candidates from your caste only till 85% of all registered marriages in India are inter-caste or inter-faith.

New york,
You are talking about casteism in india,
Why you forget about the raracsim these white guys adopt aginst the asian and african.
Recent example, I am dark coloured indian,3 month abck iwas
recurited for a Libiyan oil company to work as certification engineer,I have 25 years experience in my field of engineering,I went and worked with british team,They are non are engineer, but in 5 times higher salary than me.
My back to back was a white Jon archbould,This guy poisioned all the other guys to say i am not competetant to that job. Finally that guy Allan rune reccommended my terimination without any enquerry,See this the atrocity in african country,What would be the fate of those living those country.
Please don't preach just against india and hindus,
If you are honest why do hide your identity,
So all the evill come to the world only from westerners and their slaves like you,
However god is ther to save all humanity.

Good you brought this up. It's sad that even in 21 century in India people are so narrow minded and caught in silly stone age traditions where two people cant marry because one of their ancient ancestors performed rituals in temple and another's ancient ancestors caught fish. This is so stupid and people need to wake up and open their eyes

oh! by the way, u forgot,
hinduism does not allow people to commit all types of sins and think of getting rid of its after effects by confessing b4 jesus christ. a very convenient rule for all rapists, murderers, butherers, crusadors ....etc. so go and tell ur BS to some d0nkeys on the streets and stop looking for trouble, or else......

I am a hindu myself (at least in name).

However, I still wish to wonder aloud at your remark about confession whether 'immersing oneself in the Ganga or in the Alakananda' after committing sins isn't an equally 'convenient' rule for all rapists, murderers, butchers.....??

Thanks for 'converting' me into a Christian.

Still, it is very remarkable that you have not chosen to reply directly to my riposte about the parallels between 'confession' and 'bathing in holy rivers' but sought to try and vent your ire by resorting to that most universal among frustrated reactions, namely allude to the background or identity of the adversary and hope to take away the focus from what is being discussed !

And, talking of 'Hindu', 'Christian'...once again, it certainly is extremely convenient to assume and pretend to assume that all hindus (and of course, all Christians and all muslims too) will have a single, unvarying and distinctive opinion on all matters that is distinctive to their respective religions, is it not ????

Mr./Ms. New York

But isn't the caste system or it's equivalents endemic to every religious community in India, just as racialism is so endemic in the western psyche ???

Every community and human settlement had a dark side to it. India has changed and is changing further. We have a Muslim who became a President not because of his religion but because of his Deeds and contribution to the country. He also had a very humble beginning.

Talking about America and England, few hundred years back when India & asia was progressing fast people in this country where still barbarians...killing and looting everywhere....wherever they migrated they killed the local people and divided them further...be it australia, even native america or even south africa. They pitched opne community against another on flimsy grounds be it religion, color of skin or language.

So rather talking about Hindu community...look at all the deeds that the whites have committed

Mr. Singh

Please read history in some more detail; and read from varied sources.

You will at least realise that 'killing and looting everywhere' was equally widespread and frequent in India right from the dawn of history !!!

whosoever you are...we were happy as we were...when the mughals and britishers came...they divided india more than it ever did...so go back to your basics...we would be still happy with our possessions had your britishers frnds not looted us....we are divided on caste lines...why does it pain you? if we are divided or united ...you are nobody to comment on that...india didnt go to the world asking for information what religion are you following or what are your faiths...you came to india asking for salvation in the same divided system that you are cursing now...so better go back and refresh your own history...

Hinduism teaches a person's worth is not decided by his birth but by his acts.
You pls go and read bhagwatgita
,In that what does Lord Krsihna tells to his disple Arjuna.
Hindiusm teaches kindness,respect and values.
You people are having everything but not happiness.
If you want to see why so many people are happy in India come and visit us.
Enrich your life by teachings of Hinuism.
Even if you learn to be Moral in beheviour after reading Hinduism you will feel your life will be worth.
Also mind it,We do not TRY TO CONVERT OTHER PEOPLE TO OUR RELEGION LIKE YOU PEOPLE.
we believe in live and let live.

Mr. Amit

But isn't the absence of a drive to convert people of other faiths to hinduism more a manifestation of the very hindu trait of exclusion rather than a conscious choice derived from some higher plane of intellect that many purport to make it out to be ??

Do not mistake me, I too am a hindu (though only in name) !

yes that is a poiint that can be discussed and to be made elaborate..but you will have to understand that from the time hinduism is there in this world...it was not expected that there would be a mullah and xtian to tell the world what is happiness and what is salvation...for the heck of change ppl embraced them...or you can say hinduism accepted all of them as they were...you are fortunate to born hindu since hindus can be born by birth only...but yes your point that hindus should have convertion...is good...since its the demand of current times...but if you dig a bit deep in spirituality you will realize that as the times have passed hinduism has survived on its own so again there wont be any need for conversion since these tough times will also pass and when everything willsettle only hinduism will be left..by the way just to let you know...we follow the life system called sanatan dharm..there is no word like hindu in any of the vedic scriptures...this is because this word came from arabs since we were staying on the other side of river sindhu for them....

sorry Amit, as per voter's list Marathis are outnumbered by UP Bihaari Hindus Muslims(most of whom are UP Bihaari) in 4 out of 6 constituencies.

We Marathis are getting disenfranchised in our own linguistic state and by whom.. these UP Bihaaris who only know how to grab political power and create mini-Bihar here.
