Varun Gandhi under NSA
by RANJAN CHAUDHARY on Apr 08, 2009 09:24 AM  | Hide replies

I consider my self very secular but for a long time i am getting fed up by this congress government who would do anything to appease minorities, muslims and turn a blind eye to the majority of the population. In the rule of congress any comments uttered by Hindus against other religion is considered a serious crime but such comments if uttered by minorities and people of other religion are given a blind eye. It seems Congress is sowing seeds of discontent in the majority of the population.

Mayawati and congress made a hero of him!
by p on Apr 08, 2009 07:17 AM  | Hide replies

How else could have people noticed him?? I agree he should not be projected a hero given he has nothing to stand on. However the move by mayawati and congress is totally incorrect and just exposes their feelings for the hindu majority or for something called justice.

There is no point in going on about Varun. He is young and needs a lot of guidance. Portraying him as an evil murderer, for one speech, is going to turn the tide in his favour. People are just realising that there's a crusade going on against the BJP. If it's tarnishing BJP's image, it isnt doing much to improve the image of the others either.

More Praful hogwash
by Bodh Ramdeo on Apr 08, 2009 01:06 AM  | Hide replies

The great 'secularist' Praful at his Congie best again. Yes, Varun utterd a lot of venemous crap and perhaps deserves his lot, but what about all the others- those many Imams and Muslim 'leaders' who vented their rage against Hindus with their fatwas and other rabid pronouncements, and the many Congress-wallahs? Nary a peep!
This two-faced hypocrite vents his ire against Hindus, only. Why? Because, being a bona fide card-carrying 'secualarist', he's immune from anyone questioning his motives and biases- he can get away with anything, ad nauseum.

can u expect better comment from simi supporter lallu.
by virat v on Apr 08, 2009 12:52 AM  | Hide replies

lallu the simi supporter, has used his comments of 'using roller over varun's chest' to appease minorities for their cheap votes.
varun was childish in his comments. but lallu is a mature politician, so his crime is more serius than varun.
if varun gets nsa for his comments, then lallu deserves a phansi ka phanda for his comments.

I think the people of bihar need to use a roller over Lallus chest for robbing them of funds and development. keeping jobs, education and harmony(among people of various castes) far away from bihar.

Varun gandhi is no fool to pass such remarks in public just for cheap publicity. To an extent he meant what he said and why create such a hungama over his remarks?? Y dont u catch all the mullas who pass such comments almost daily in their public speech. Have you seen any muslim oposing that. Then y is varun gandhi let down by his own brethren ?? Kudos Varun ! at least some % of intellectual hindus will support you.

polarization of hindu and muslims plays to congress and BJP plan
by D S on Apr 07, 2009 10:07 PM

votes via polarization of hindu and muslims

Any polarization plays to advantage of congress and bjp. This is unfortunate because it can deny chance to correct candiate and keeps power between BJP and congress nexus backed by money and crime mafia.
Direct election of PM by people is way to go.

A Book Every Proud Indian Must Read
by Sangita Menon on Apr 07, 2009 09:17 PM  | Hide replies

"If I were to look over the whole world to find out the country most richly endowed with all the wealth, power, and beauty that nature can bestow—in some parts a very paradise on earth—I should point to India.

If I were asked under what sky the human mind has most full developed some of its choicest gifts, has most deeply pondered on the greatest problems of life, and has found solutions of some of them which well deserve the attention even of those who have studied Plato and Kant—I should point to India.

And if I were to ask myself from what literature we, here in Europe, we who have been nurtured almost exclusively on the thoughts of Greeks and Romans, and of one Semitic race, the Jewish, may draw that corrective which is most wanted in order to make our inner life more perfect, more comprehensive, more universal, in fact more truly human, a life, not for this life only, but a transfigured and eternal life—again I should point to India."

- F. MAX MÜLLER, K.M. in 1882 speaking at the Cambridge University to the candidates who were appearing for the ICS exams. (This is part of an excellent book titled 'What India Can Teach Us'. This is a book every proud Indian must read. Available for download at Project Gutenberg site.)

Chris

In 1659, before the Adilshahi General Afzal Khan of Bijapur rode out to encounter & murder Shivaji Maharaj, he was foretold that he, Afzal, would not survive the encounter. So, Afzal, before leaving on his mission, had his 64 wives murdered by drowning within one hour, and buried in a specially-contructed graveyard, as he did not want his wives to outlive him.

This is how the "Religion of Peace" works. Our history text-books conveniently omitted to tell us this interesting fact about the 'peaceful' character of Afzal Khan.

This graveyard, called 'Saat Qabar’ (60 graves)can be seen even today in Bijapur, Karnataka.

Shivaji Maharaj despatched this scoundrel Afzal to his ignominous death, and saved all of us.

The truth is that we Indians are neither Arabs nor Portuguese. We are NOT a Semitic people. So, we have no use for any of the Semitic religions (Judaism, Xtianity, Islam).

We have only one true home-grown religion, namely Hinduism, and this is the religion of all Indians, only some of us have forgotten our own roots !

We should all proudly embrace our glorious Hindu roots.
Then, India would a peaceful, prosperous, happy super-power.

Why and how should I embrace Hinduism.

1. The word Hindu is what Muslim started calling you. You started calling yourself as hindus. Go to your scriptures there is no word such as hindu in the scriptures.

2. Hindusim = Animism in all respects.

3. Hindus believe in caste system

4. Hindus believe in suffocating women after their husbands death.

5. Hindus believe in killing their daughters so that they have to give dowry when they grow up

6. Hindus are fanatics.
