Match was blunder of things
by trichy madhavan sridharan on Jul 11, 2019 12:51 PM  | Hide replies

Runs onboard could have been contained first by good bowling, specially the last few overs.Secondly the quick wickets of opening and subsequent batsmen was pathetic and secondly middle order was full of choas and thirdly I think Thala never had a plan to win this game might be that someone would have said something which would have hurt him like retiring so he was not determined in batting , sure to say yesterday's batting was not thala's batting. I am of the feeling everytime we could have given this chance to some other team who would have won and qualified for finals. Pathetic batting and poor show for semifinals.

That was due to rain spoiled pitch. Its impossible that two batsmen who have performed better than all the batsmen world wide and have earned World no. 1 and 2 ranks, cannot score more than 1 run. They can dominate any bowler or bowling attack in the worls. Their figures prove it. ITS THE DAMN PITCH THAT HELPED NZ BOWLERS. NZ were lucky, rains interrupted only after they played 46.1 overs. By then they had scored defendable runs.

This is nonsense comment of yours, Ravi Jadeja had shown that runs could still be scored if players had talent to do so!!

The pitch eased out later. Stop writing non sense comments on your part too. The pitch was very bad for first 15 overs of the play. Then it eased out. Did you sense it?

Sorry the two batsman Rohit and Rahul will shit in their pants when bowling crosses 140. They are good to play only Asian teams and the beginners in the parts of Europe.

Sorry I disagree. Rohit Sharma hit half century against Australia in league games. Mitchell Starc bowls at 145 kmph speed. Even Mohammad Amir of Pakistan bowls at same speed. And against Pakistan he scored 140. Both th bowlers are very highly rated, and on their day can wreck havock in any batting line-up. HOW DID HE PERFORM SO GOOD AGAINST THEM?

i think i will explain further. The 4 centuries of Rohit was because of the weather which dampened the pitch and became playable for Rohit and Shakib the asian batsmen and unplayable for the European batsman who love to see ball come at them. In a way Water Cup instead of World Cup made it possible for Rohit and Shakib where they are today. If it was a sunny season you would have seen the two shitting in their pants.

Kartik is the culprit
by Pr R on Jul 11, 2019 12:50 PM

Kartik made 6 runs off 25 balls. That was the main reason for India's defeat. Even if he would have got out earlier, we would still be saved of 20 odd balls. Slectors with donkey's mind ignored extremely talented players like Shubnam Gill, Prithvi Shaw and Ishan Kishan. Instead they took Lazy and incapable Jadhav, Nakli Vijay Shankar, most unreliable Rahul and kuchh nahin aata Kartik and maha aproachee Pant. Its time for all these nakli players to hang their shoes forever. To start with Dinesh Kartik. His career should be over now. Even Axar Patel or Suresh Raina would have performed better than idiot Kartik and would have bowled a few good overs as well.

1. Leader should inspire.. righ from playoffs he can't say i'm happy playing second fiddle when others are taking charge..
2. KL Rahul should meet a psychologist.. though out the tournament he was edgy and was not his natural self,, he kept on thinking he has seniors under whom he can be shielded and play supporting role, if they go he will also go.. he should tell himself he is on Par with seniors and play his game...
3. Dhoni's playing deep and try towards end theory has become old school now.. he should play the Aussies way, keep the score board ticking..
4. Three wicket keepers in a Semi-final match is un called for, when you have flown in a specialist Batsman in Agarwal
5. Remain humble, did you see Rohit's attitude.. Krish Srikanth was presenting him player of the Match with so much joy.. he seemed to care a damn.. attitude of a super star..
6. Train on pressure handling, at this level you are expected to be role models of pressure negotiations, look at Rahul's body language when Kohli went!! he could have told the selectors he is mentally not prepared to take pressure and rest him and play Agarwal..
7. Adapting to Conditions... swinging ball is a perennial problem for our team..

All of us are sad for the loss.. time will heal!

I am very happy. The loss was good for cricket and for who were left out due to bias of Maharashtra lobby.

Indian Selectors playing a villain role
by Subhasish Lahiri on Jul 11, 2019 12:05 PM  | Hide replies

I would blame the Indian selectors for this GREAT BLUNDER as they have not picked up Ambati Raidu for the World Cup squad. There was no need for IDIOT Dinesh Karthik. Rohit Sharma out for 1, Virat Kohli exactly the same. But boys I would not blame both of you. You two have done enough for the team. For the contribution of you two India achieved the No. 1 spot in the League Table. HATS OFF TO ROHIT. INDIA IS IN NEED OF GOOD SELECTORS RATHER THAN GOOD PLAYERS.

Do you think Ambati Rayudu is better than any other middle-order batsmen? I do not agree with you. Ambati Rayudu is nothing better than DK. Yes I agree that DK is not a very calibred batsman. He can play only T20s. But then Rayudu is also the same. Sorry bro. Analyze properly before criticizing anybody. Take Rayudu or DK. Its one and the same.

Ambati would not have been a great choice either.. had they flown him in, the dressing room would not remain the same..
