I agree with the analysis. After 4-1 defeat also Kohli remarked that we were not outplayed. He may be consoling himself , but for the spectators all over India it was a big disappointment. It was shocking for a team that was ranked no 1 in the world. We succumbed and yielded under pressure.Except on the last day when Pant , the debutante put the English bowlers to the sword, and could be dismissed only because he was going for runs for the elusive victory.Kohli remarks that spectators come to see competitive matches in which there are no draws.A draw in the last test match would have proved his point, or when we failed to win by 46 runs. The spectators pay through their nose to see India perform and boost their pride.Shastri gets Rs8 crores, players also crores .All this is because of the craze for cricket in India. Manjit Singh , who won the gold medal in 800 meters ,a far more competitive track,in the Asiad was unemployed. The Indian team should have some sense of accountability and shame when they perform miserably, rather than claim success even in rout.
Improper selectors, fielderless team, improper field placement of team, lack of swing in bowling, unstable Shikhar Dawan, not trying the opening by Vijay and Rahul, not utilising Karun Nair even in single match to test his ability abroad, no proper advice from the Chief Coach, in all COA for calling a Sluggidh Sastry to Chief Coach, who sleeps while the play is on and so many reasons for failure

arrogance of Captain and coach has led to this result...Kumble was right ….We Indians certainly deserve this result
Virat Kohli is a fantastic batsman. But as a skipper he has to learn a lot.. Consistency missing.. Change the coach, skipper and bring players who can contribute..
Karun Nair's biggest mistake was that he scored a 300 (a triple hundred) in a Test Match against a visiting England side in that series in Chennai. That was the biggest blunder he committed. Not a single chance was given to Karun Nair in 5 Test matches which India played against England (the same team that he scored against and made INdia win that Test match in Chennai). This is INDIA. If you perform extraordinarily well against a team you will be dropped again when playing against that team. SO SAD. You are demoralising a player by selecting him for England and making him warm the bench. Even great Kohli hasnt scored a triple ton so far in 71 test matches whereas Karun in just 6 test matches played has scores a triple hundred (303 against England). You go on giving chances to T20 specialists like Shikar Dhawan to play Tests and not a single chance to the proven Test player who can stay for hours and days at the crease and win a game for your country. India deserve to lose because of such pathetic team selection and injustice to real good performers. Giving chance to players in Test matches based on their T20 performances and dropping players for Test matches based on their previous good performances in Test matches is ridiculous. Such a shame.
India is a land of cricketing and all these are retired legend such as Kapil Dev, Sunil Gavaskar, Bishen Bedi, Dilip Vengsarkar, Gundappa Viswanath, EAS Prasanna, Venkatraghavan, VVS Laxman, Rahul Dravid, Sourav Ganguly can contribute immensely to modern Indian cricket ' in the form of administrators, selectors, coaches or advisors.
But we look at MSK Prasad, Ravi Shastri and Sanjay Bangar. These people may have been good...but look at the names above. When we have legends why is the Big Board putting Indian cricket in ordinary players hands. So sad.
What a stupidy!! Sanjay Bangar was a very poor batsmen, I can't believe there is anything he could have taught. He should be immediately thrown out and a retired batsmen of some really good test record should be hired to coach.
