One of the boldest statements to come out on BCCI. Vinod Rai, after his stand on 2G and Coal, thinks he also has become a superstar and cannot be questioned. He has also tried to keep powers that be happy so he continues to enjoy power consequently. Once you compromise on issues, you get trapped by the likes of scum that exists in the BCCI. The Board must be 'above board' and must be able to tackle stars and superstars. If we have enough depth in cricket, I don't see why we have to suck up to those who are currently monopolizing Indian cricket. Good for you, Guha!

Players are the ones who win matches. When someone in the twenties gets the captaincy of a national team ,it goes into his head and he becomes too big for his boots. But nothing happens to them since they are all financially safe and are smart enough to make hay when the sun shines.Kohli is a match winner and his rash and immature ways in a way contribute to the killer instinct and his success. The coach can go.But not the player.
At the young age, if someone achieves the Captain of Indian Cricket teams, this is what happening. Team is good only because of its players. All greats are only talking.... in practice... selfish.

How you come to know that players are not wanting the present coach? Is is Delhi affinity for all these developments ?
This you scrub me and I will scrrub you is entrenched in the top echelons of India's cricket. But as long as the green backs keep getting deposited into bank accounts no one cares for conflicts of interests or otherwise. Gavaskar, Ganguly et al having interests is a known fact same like many of our parliamentarians having fingers in many things when in their positions they ought not to. But then this is India. We are like that only....
