Virat is a perfect Batsman. He keeps himself very alert and involve completely and daring man. Nobody can't deny Sanchin was a king. But Virat is a different batsman with excellent performance and failure is very less.
This comparison could be made only after Virat's retirement. He is looking impressive and hence people expect that he could break Tendulkar's records while no body knows what would happen tomorrow. It is past as well in records.

Dont show off your ignorance! Comparision is not done based on time. But on the obvious factors- TEMPRAMENT- Tendulkar always wilted under pressure especially during chasing and against strong opposition. Tendulkar made most of his runs against B grade teams like zimbabwe, bangladesh srilanka and newzealand of that time. Facing quality against Australia and South Africa his temprament got exposed quickly.
TECHNIQUE- I see maybe because of his temprament Virat is a better player offside the offstump which was Tendulkar's weakness during initial periods, his footwork was lacking.
Also Virat is a better fielder and captain than Tendulkar. Tendulkar's performance dipped when he was made the captain and he was removed. Virat has showed no such limitation.
So even if Virat plays 5 years less and makes 5000 runs lesser than Tendulkar he will always be one up on Tendulkar.

ASHIS TIWARI; While replying to my comment you said that as if I am ignorant. That itself shows you must be too young to know things. While my comment is about known records you commented about an imaginary unknown future. Any how MSDhoni & Hindustani have given you a fitting reply.

tiwari, sachin played against walsh, ambrose, marshall, imran, akram, akhtar, yunus, mcgrath, warne, lee, bond, donald, ntini, murli, vass, steyn, johnson, anderson, broad etc. whr as kohli played only against steyn, anderson, broad etc. so whn kohli is not playing against WORLDCLASS BOWLERS how can he be better than Sachin ????

@ Asish Tiwari,
You better need to check your cricketing knowledge before blabbering like this....Tendulkar's record against Australia is better than any other Indian batsman.
As far as technique is concerned even the greatest of them all Sir Don Bradman had declared publically that Sachin's technique was flawless & it reminds him of his own technique.
For nearly 3/4'th of the matches which he had played during his time, Sachin was literally ONE MAN SHOW in the side. Whenever he failed to deliver, India used to lose the game.
Also it's so foolish & ignorant on your part to compare SRT with Virat especially when considering the quality of bowling SRT faced during his time & the quality of bowling Kohli is facing now. SRT faced one of the best bowlers of all time with the likes of MACGRATH, WARNE, LEE, AKRAM, WAQUAR, SAQLAIN, DONALD, VAAS, MURALI, AMBROSE, WALSH ETC. compared to those bowlers what is the quality of todays bowlers ? Can you name any of the today's bowler who can even come closer to these bowlers ?
Also, quality of the pitches those days in the late 90's & 2000's was far better than today's. Australia, SA, England & NZ pitches were far more faster, bouncier & extremely difficult to bat on those days than they are now. These days, the pitches have became more & more batting friendly.
So, show some cricketing sense & improve your overall knowledge of cricket before expressing your hatred for Tendulkar.

It is doubtful whether Test Cricket after some years exist. I think existing pattern of pitches may be changed to turf.

How many times Sachin got out outside the offstump beaten by good deliveries?
How many times Sachin was bowled out or lbw because of the initial [art of his innings for lack of footwork and gap between bat and pad? Virat has no such technical issues.
How many times Sachin choked when chasing a huge score? Almost always. Virat is anyday a better fielder than Tendulkar.
Is media always like this creating rift between the fans by comparing two personalities. Comon guys dont fall for this Sachin in his abilty is a mastero and kohli in his time
Tendulkars' greatness is not in the centuries he made or records he broke, but that he remained Indias' main batsman scoring consistently for 17 years. Kohli has all the potential, but he has just started the journey.
In His Entire Carrier Sachin Never Played on Pressure except on 2 occasion (1998 sharjah & in Australia VB series final) both against Australia , when there was pressure on him specially 2nd batting he always failed . where as virat Avg is mind blowing on batting second. Sachin may have score more runs then any one else BUT when we look back we didn't see any achievement which we can remember in his entire career. For ME its STILL HUNT 1998 TEST MATCH AGAINST PAKISTAN WHICH WE LOST MY NARROW MARGIN IF SACHIN DOES IT TILL END IT WILL BE THE GREATEST 2 INNING AFTER BRADMAN innings which we made against England facing bodyline bowling.
