T20 needs a bit of luck
by rajanikanta dey on Apr 01, 2016 10:13 PM  | Hide replies

T20 game is once again proved to be more dependent on luck than good cricket because it does not give any scope to change the game plan. However Dhoni is undisputed as a leader and motivator for the team. The same WI team will not be able to win a single 50 over match against the present Indian team.

Now we know how we beat Aus in recent T20 but lost all 50 over matches there. Good one.

T20 2016

Barring the two "No Ball" overs which went against India, our team played really well and so was the West Indies. The match was like a final and gave lot of exciting moments. I do not find any one to blame but luck favoured the West Indies and they too exhibited very good cricket. In a 20 over game any thing can happen. And its not time for Dhoni to retire. He is a man of substance and let us give him some more years and he certainly would perform.

Luck favoured India and we reached 192. Else match would have been over by WI playing 12th over.

Had Bangladesh not

gifted the match to India, millions of supporters would have been saved from the disappointment in SF against Windies. Some teams just ride too much on Luck.

Both the teams played good cricket
by MOHAN IYER on Apr 01, 2016 05:11 PM

Both the teams played good cricket and tried their level best to win. But the Windies played fearless cricket and won. Hat off to Windies. Sorry Blue Mens better, you played well but luck did favoured you. So, better luck next time.

Keep up the good work...
by Ranjan Sen on Apr 01, 2016 05:01 PM

This time we believe India played & lost. There will be reasons. Experts will opine. But in such a short tenure of 20 overs, scripts are not pre-written. Since the days of Sunil Gavaskar, we are used to losing matches. He was a good cricketer but a bad captain. India had seen good captains in the past viz. Pataudi, Kapil, Saurav Ganguly & now our MSD. Analyse but cheer up. For MSD I have a a polite advice : please give younger blood some space. For example M Pandey.... etc. When newly married cricketers fail to get runs, when great names do not score continuously, it's time to think in terms of fresh blood... sooner the better. Ego can be put to rest. Right Mr MSD ? Good Luck...

Bumra Jafeja and Ashwin not T20 bowlers. Panda not T20 all rounder. Dhoni not T20 captain. Kohli only scores in last 20 balls. We need to replace the team.

Failure in the Semi Final
by manoj surve on Apr 01, 2016 04:48 PM

World knows the Indian cricket history. they are always known for unpredictable team . They are not dominate team like west indies in the past, Australia, England they never a give chance to any moment to back in the game.India is never a dominant team in the cricket history. So don;t feel bad about loss. The indian fans are crazy but they didn't understand the game for long years.
