Dew could affect your spinners but what about your quicks? Except Nehra, everyone else was completely at sea. All our other batsmen are only IPL wonders. Sharma never score while chasing the target, Rahane can't go beyond run a bowl. Raina, Jadeja are plain useless & nothing to even speak about & Dhoni could not score aggressively, have you seen a significant inning from him after that 2011 world cup final while chasing ???? So, toss, pitch, dew etc, can affect to very small extent but can't be call as a game-changer. The main culprits are our slow batting, inability to hit fours & sixes when it mattered most, our wayward & too much defensive bowling, our wrong length ( mostly good-length & short length which is a crime at this pitch ) & lastly our indiscipline with no bowls & catches. If you consider dew at Wankhede as a factor, then what was the factor at Nagpur where we lost on square turner there was no dew there. Why we ALMOST BUT LOST to Bangladesh at Bengaluru? There was no dew there. So all these are excuses to tell to satisfy ourselves & hide ourselves from the FACT that WE PLAYED BAD CRICKET.    Forward   |   Report abuse

Cricket teams can suddenly go outta form en masse. It happens. We cheered the same team in Asia cup. Now, Shikhar and Rohit suddenly went outta form. We still cheer for home team outta patriotic emotions. We don't celebrate our team's loss as some guys do it here. It's just 3 hours of entertainment. We should not attach too much importance to it.
