bharat Ratna should be awarded to person for his life long contri butiont to the country and it should not be cosidered a ritual by the government.Preferably it should be awarded to those who are no longer amongst us but are still remembered by the people.8

satish and piyush deserve severe lynching - but neglected by us. any vague comments come out of greed and jealousy that are in-born.
Can a businessman who has made money & only money, no doubt runs also, be given this highest honour? Then there are other business tycoons in India who deserve this. I fell ashamed to learn this.

raavan - u dont deserve even a mudstone - so what? who cares your view? U get only what you deserve and nothing less nothing more. always crying on others success shows the weakness and lack of self belief - mind that.

why only sachin is being critisized what about the the scientist best known for plagiarism among his phd students.. What contribution lata mangeshakar and ustaad bismillah khan has given for society? In her entire life she had never sung a song without royalty and late ustad khaan hadalways taken the ample benefits for his very big joint family... Everyone in india is defaulter.. But blame only sachin.
to defeat Hitler's Germany during the time of British rule in India was not the real "Bharat Ratna' award to Dhyan Chand in Hockey which is now at dying stage?
No doubt Bharat Ratna is allmost always a Congress party award. But now further doubt is what are the scopes of getting this award. Will it spill over to film? If Sachin gets it why not Kapildev?
