Sachin deserves the best under the sun
by rajoo iyer on Feb 04, 2014 07:29 PM  | Hide replies

No individual in the world had ever carried his career path under the pressure of expectation of a billion people for over 2 decades and still brought some cheer and happiness in a country so much divided by caste communities religion and languages and Sachin is a unifying force of India and who else better deserve Bharat Ratna if he doesn't? Critics do cry as usual out of their in-born enmity and jealosy. Why should we care?
Let the youth of India inculcate some of the qualities of commitment and consistency and character showed by Sachin - so that Indian Flag will fly sky-high in the coming years.

Vishy from present and Dhyanchand deserves from past deserves BR far more than Sachin as per the achievements in their respective sports.. problem with people like u is that ur knowledge is zero in sports, and u only knows cricket.. cricket is mostly played by weak and corrupt sporting nations like india, pakistan, sri-lanka, bangladesh... Corrupt cong govt gifted BR to its MP ignoring india's best sportspersons..

Hockey !
by Prabhakar KRISHNA on Feb 04, 2014 07:01 PM

India won 8 Gold medals in Olympics and our Hockey platers travel in 2nd Class railway compartments and sleep in dormitories. No honor was bestowed on Hockey Wizard Dhyanchand whose hockey stick was frequently changed at the instruction of Hitler at Berlin Olympics 1936; as Hitler suspected that his stick had magic !!! What a shame ; and we call HOCKEY our NATIONAL GAME ?

Bharat Ratna award to Sachin Tendulkar is a SHEER POLITICS. I do not think, after earning crores of rupees and earning through endorsements, he has been awarded with the Highest Civilian honour. It is Poor India which is ruled by few Rich and influential. Let me not born as Indian in next birth,

let such professors face a fast bowler bowling at 100 mph and make a billion people cheerful for 2 decades to deserve a bharat ratna. You dont have brain even to compare people with different ways of life.

He has been a born lucky fellow always and till now. He made name, fame, money and now the final award.
In my personal opinion, there are many better and deserving people for Bharat Ratna.
But in India, Politics prevails and he is one of the beneficiaries of Cong!!

Go behind him you may get some used cloths from him
That may be equivalent to one award for you.
With this attitude you may not get better than this
