Everyone is playing to the gallery.. classic case of associating with a strong brand with a large mind share in last 2 days .. from FM radio stations to film stars promoting their movies ..now even a national party on the verge of elections .. has somebody complained to EC about violating the code of conduct?? :)
Honestly, the last time sachin inspired me was when he won the sharjah trophy for us in 1997 against australia .. since then all his records have mostly been personal achievements rather than contributing national achievement in the sport of cricket.. neither as a captain ..rarely won matches single handedly for the country .. He has denied a place in the side for more deserved since 2011. Now as a role model and awarded bharat rathna .. wah!

Dhoni and kohli have scored many such 175s and won matches for india. Should they also be given bharat ratna ?. No point arguing with die-hard fans to whom emotions prove stronger than logic ..

Farz1 Indian, even Dhoni n kohli didnt win those matches singlehandedly... go n check scorecard of all three matches...
BTW what is performance of these 2outside Asia against quality bowling on fast pitches... plz check that also... meanwhile kEEp burn1ng. hahahah

farz1 indian, Sachin faced atleast 25world class bowlers... current generation is lucky that there are not even 5 world class bowlers today... else ur dhoni,kohli wud have pEed in pants in India too the way they do in aus,SA,eng... check the stats n then bArk... till then kEEp burn!ng... hahahhah

Rajiv Shukla said that when Sachin was playing, it was not appropriate to confer the award to Sachin. Good. I wish RG retires from politics now and then they can award BR to him also along with Sachin. One function, for economy sake!
