Because Sachin has not scored even 1 triple hundred. Lara was the world record holder and when it got broken by Hayden he regained by scoring 400. This is the mark of a champion

Every player has his own merits and demerits, off course sachin looks great on records but Lara becomes great because in many matches he had no supporting players at other end as India had Azhar,Dravid, Ganguly,sehawag for Tendulkar which was making less pressure on him, but Lara had know support from other hand( hooper,jimmy adams at sometimes, but not equal to Dravid-ganguly) I remember Lara drawn/ won single handedly in partnership along with tailenders like Walsh, partnership was over 50 , copare this with Indian great tragedy India required 14runs to win at Bangalore against pakistan sachin with one end India were just 4 down were allout just scoring 9 runs, Sachin made highest but succumbed to the pressure. Sachin was clearly unable to fight when pressure applied by the opponents when batting with lower order
we should not compare each others like Bradman,gavaskar,kapil,sachin.richards,gibbs,lara,imran,akram,warne,kumble,murli,all players are great,we cant compare them to anyone.only time wasters and retired people can talk abt this

Both liked to dominate the bowling, but once well set Lara was more difficult to get out than Tendulkar ( Lara's triple and quadruple centuries speak about that ). Tendulkar lacked that concentration and stamina.

and Sachin is better in ODI... Sachin is more flamboyant and has more strokes... Lara is more long innings player type and Sachin is fast and short Type... later type impacts ODIs more the the Lara Type impacts Tests more
punter was always furios abt the grt man tendi..he scored so heavily agnst them..had given them so many sleepless nights...his point is valgurable..winning 1 matches on own og 50 matches..and taking close to win match in 30 of 50 r diff ascpects...i say that with all details verified...so looser punter stffu
