lets not abuse sachin.
he has been kohinoor of india.
but he should realise evrything in life comes down.
he needs a gentle tap on shoulder.
The passion for game may be preventing him from doing so.

BCCI also knows when he is to retire if he does not perform. Till now he considered Indian Team as his personal property. Whenever he wants he tours and if it is small country with no sight seeing attraction he drops out of tour.

Sachin on Decline
by Joe Jaising on Sep 04, 2012 02:15 PM  | Hide replies

On this forum, there are many who have put regioanlism in their responses and putting that aside. We go HURREY when Sachin scores a century and if he does not then we make comments on him. This is our culture. One day HERO and other day ZERO. However, one thing must be baffling that why he is still playing. He could hv retired afte world cup or his 100th hundreds. He has not. He has not added value to Indian team since both of these landmarks and there is nothing left for him to achieve. So, why is he still playing? Becuase of his business managers. No matter who you are, your commercial value is intact while you are still on the ground. Brand Sachin will not hold as strong when he retires as he does now and hence he must be advised by his business managers to continue playing as much as possible. He should understand that he needs to retire before people ask "why is he still plyaing?". That simply bring to the point, he is playing for selfish reasons and everyone is selfish. What is he doing to holding a place of one of future Indian cricket. It can debatable who that future cricketer is, Raina - No, Rohit - Not yet. Badrinath - Cannoth be. who else then? Only now we seem to be filling gap left by Laxman in form of Virat. We still hv not got replacement for Ganguly and Dravid yet(Pujara) still needs to prove. Filling boot Sachin will be inmpossible. So, in the interim basis, we hv to put up with Sachin...for many reasons for us and for him...

Laxman was not as talented as Virat Kohli. Don't compare. Laxman had no footwork and his movement on the field and also running between the wickets were pathetic. Virat is a complete crickter. He can bat, filed and also bowl.He has captaincy material having led his team to World Cup in under 19 Tourney. In his present form Virat Kohli is the best batsman not only in India in the World also.

Virat Kohali, is good cricketer but jump-up immediately, wait for few more yrs. There were 100s of such talented cricketers who could not able to maintain their thrust like Dravid,Laxman,Sachin. I dont say He cannot, but need some time to prove.

Our intention is not to hurt but it seem that tendulkar is taking advantaage so people want him out , if he reads all rediff post he should quit gracefully otherwise a situation will come he will be humilated and thrown out of team .

Its like saying your kids to throw you out when you are old. Tendulkar was a great player, is a great player and will remain so forever. We must respect a great. There are many ways to show your disagreemnt gracefully.
