Decline - Just we had Lakshman and Dravid retired - we dont want another senior batsmen retire - Youngsters are good but its the combination of youngsters and seniors that make a good team. Sachin is not on a decline stage but yes lacks match practice -

SRT is still doing good

If one sees stats for last 2 years compare Viru, Gautam,Suresh Raina , Dhoni..you will know the answer..Who is more consistent of all...Talk abt Decline...?? Couple of bad tests and decline...?? Why not talk abt Ind winning for this series..Media is obsessed about talking SRT as it gets more attention..and ppl fail for that..The Legend knows what is incline/decline and when to stop.

Past the sell-by date

Can anyone with a right mind use a product which is past the sell-by date? It could be a genius material, but resting on past laurels would only do harm to the stature.
It is up to fast bowlers around the world to end any career in their 39s. Fast 150Kmph to the chin may make anyone think about enjoying the bat again... It may not in happen in INDIA because of lack of bounce but surely will in Australia, South Africa, England, New Zealand and the West Indies.

Never seen such a comparison. Too good to be ignored by BCCI.

BCCI ignoring does not matter. It should be important that Australian or South African fast bowlers should also ignore when he tours them. If they do not, then it would be forced retirement just like Mark Boucher.

tendu is a genda most selfish to born
by tamil troublers on Sep 04, 2012 06:17 PM  | Hide replies

Tendaa is the most selfish person to have born on this earth. He has only played for himself. When Tendulkar was played at no 4 in one day he picked a fight with Chappel and when Imran Khan said Tendya is not match winner and why he is playing after world cup Tingu master made Imran his enemy and dropped him from his list of hero. Tendaa said he can't choose just one format in Aamne Saamne show with anuradha because he says we only play 3-5 test in a year. To be in the limelight he need to feature in one day for contracts and sponsors. Remember dravid and laxman just got selected in test and lost all their sponsor. Tendya said T20 is not made for him in 2007. When IPL came he jumped and played whole tournament with 2 injuries and missed tours after. Such selfish person do not deserve bharat ratna.. although he deserve selfish ratna

Tendulkar should retire
by Akshay Parmar on Sep 04, 2012 06:13 PM

With all due respect,He should be selected only if agrees to play in all test matches and one day tournaments. It appears he is terribly short on match practise. He should be played in the test matches against visiting English and Australian sides. He is providing excellent on field coaching to Pujara,Kohli and Rahane.
