I believe since Ashwin has been designated as lead spinner after 2011 ODI WC, we haven't reached any tournament final..CB series, Asia Cup and now this T20 WC. Even in 2011 ODI WC he played only 2 matches, so we won it. He maybe lucky for CSK, but not for India.
to dethrone Dhoni out of captaincy , no one is talking about these 2 guys who do not play at all ...Dhoni along with captaincy he is doing execllent weeket keeping with so many caught & bowled ...he has single handedly win so many matches for India withoug thinking of his 50 or 100 like others in team...no wonder India is land of opportunist and thankless people

Dear did you see World Cup post action when Dhoni hit 6 of last ball...He was nowhere in Presentaion ceremony when all team along with sachin were running with Cup on there head...I have never seen him not giving credit to boys for good performance

The Indian captain has tough task of handling 10 heaviest Egoistic over-ambitious cunning Regionalism-oriented fellows inside the team and crazy media and others outside the team??? Team always remains good, what matters is how to make them perform their best... Thats where full credit goes to one and only one till now in Indian team --- DHONI. I never saw negativity in Dhoni's attitude. Many, including Ganguly are simply jealous.

No. Its true. Australia played it safe considering India as more dangerous and unpredictable compared to Pakistan. Australia are clever..
I satisfied wid Team India performance in this world cup. India r not gud T20 team but played gud jumped from no 7 to no 2 now in rank. defeat Africa, Pakiston and England. Just lost against Watson. India shud make some T20 special ppl as other teams instead of play same oldies frm odis & test for more success. Captan Dhoni not getting explosive dangerous in T20 as he is in odis.
One big reason for India not being able to qualify is because the genius of all times Ravindra Jadeja was left out. He could have smashed all opponents' bowlers and took wickets with ease.

ALONG with sir ajit agarkar could have created havoc in the field.. they should have been rushed to the teams rescue.
