Dhoni ne India ko Dho Dala !!!!!!

He should understand that India has the strength of betting and not bowling. If batting fails, we loose. Very few times bowlers made us win. Its a batting failure in entire tournament which sent us out.

Get back Sachin into T20 team
by Maihoon Don on Oct 03, 2012 12:22 PM  | Hide replies

Then only Indian team can do well. Exit of Sachin, Kumble, Dravid, Laxman etc will slowly put India in last position of world rankings. Wait and watch.

Its not possible practically....but that combination was a gr8 combination of young and experience players. More importantly..Ganguly as a captain always gave same importance to all Senior and New comers also, unlike dhoni....who dont even pick up calls of seniors.

sachin kumble ganguly dravid laxman played some wcs what happened? we did not win...when did we win? when they wre thrown out and new comers taken...

t20 wc 2007 sa no sachn, kumble ganguly, dravid laxman...result? we won...

odi wc 2011 no laxman, ganguly, dravid kumble...what happened? we won...

cb series aus no kumble dravid laxman ganguly...what happened? we won...

in india vs aus series dhoni was made test captain...he captained in 2 tests of that series and kumble captained 2 tests? result? when kumble captain we could not win either tests...kumble not there retired...what happened? under dhoni we won 2 tests of that series without kumble in the side...

many more such examples can be given...

S M, my cricket study is better than your cricket study...it is you who need to study cricket if you want to argue with me..

Nobody is interested in knowing your degrees in Cricket studies...only the question is to respect quality players...In sportman ship is beyond the results. And then why not Dhoni is resigning as he always shout for youngism and rotation policy. Why he dont apply these rules on himself. I dont think he is now 20yrs old to call himself young.

After that famous remark, how does Dhoni explain our getting thrown out in the Super Eight stage?

Indian players' attitude was deplorable!
by Venkatesa Prabhu on Oct 03, 2012 12:18 PM  | Hide replies

Indian cricketers' attitude yesterday was one of complete indifference. It is true that the game against Australia went against us in a big way. Australia's batting yesterday also needs to be probed ... whether there was any 'throwing' involved? How else would one explain their such pathetic batting against the pakis yesterday? But Indian cricketers did NOT COVER themselves with glory on the field yesterday [ this is my view]. They did NOT even try seriously to raise their batting scores to a significantly high number ... they knew at the beginning itself that the magic number to get them into the semi-finals was 31. Knowing the depth of Proteas' batting, the Indian score should have been around 180 or so ... even as Proteas inched towards the 90s mark, there was no serious effort to deny Proteas the singles or the twos. Dhoni and company probably were more interested in the ICC Rankings than making the semi-finals. Likewise, they did NOT EXHIBIT any serious intent in overtaking Pakistan on their NRR in the match against Pakistan. This 'I-could-not-care' attitude is completely deplorable.
