by looking at the way the off spring of thieves played against pakis..it gets a feeling that the white trash intelligently through away the match..we were actually a good team may not be the best but still had the potential to lift the cup..sad we could not make it..

What Australia did is irrelevant. What matters is how India played and didn't win with good margins.

Why blame others if you can't raise your game? Aussies may be thieves or the offspring of thieves but the fact remains that Dhoni & Co. have disappointed millions of Indian cricket-lovers. Will the new Selection Committee show some spine and give chance to some deserving youngsters?
Viru & GG are responsible for Loss if Indian team and exit from T20.. I bet you can remember any innings of these 2 players very recently..With their recent performances they are more now liabilities rather than assets for team. Yuvi's lack of practice and bit of slow batting from Rohit & MSD also contributed to the loss of the Team..

Somehow I feel that Viru and GG were not putting their real efforts. The team mgmt must not tolerate this type of attitute from anyone.

I agree with you it is time both Viru and GG be sacked for 5 matches they will come to senses, Both Gg and Viru wants to be captain of the team.but both are not good. The win by KK in IPL is a clear fixed match. Virus leadership is nothing much to say about. Dhoni is the right man

Yes. am satisfied with India team performance. It was best after 2007 T-20 WC.

Its not just game..If you are Losing again & again (3 times consecutive failure to reach at Semis) than really something bad in your game & planning where as your team is supposed to be 1 of the Title contenders.

agree with you. As rightly said by Dhoni. We didnt Click as a Team tells clearly the lack of coop from Viru and GG if you had watched the matches they played ,,they were more interested in getting out than scoring runs
Much of the criticism against Dhoni is unwarranted. He is guilty of only two mistakes. One is the propping up of Rohit Sharma and then playing a preliminary match so casually that the run rate factor goes against us.
What we have seen in the past also is a Captain after successful captaincy tends to be over confident and with the career of other co-players. Leaving senior players frustrated is not a good omen for success.
Despite their best T-20 WC campaign after 2007 WC India couldn't make semifinal. India won 4 out of 5 matches against top T-20 teams of the world like SA, Eng and Pak. India started their campaign as world number 8 and now India is world number 2. As an Indian fan I am disappointed with India exit but as a cricket fan I think India did well. Now India should look at next T-20 WC. Considering the form, fitness, age and fielding standard of some players I think we should bring young T-20 specialist in place of Gambhir, Sehwag and Zaheer. I don't think Balaji, M.Tiwary and P.Chawla will be part of next T-20 WC. Keep a close eye on Yuvi, Dhoni and Bhajji performance in T-20 format for next 1 year. If their form and fitness dip in this period they also should make a way for youngsters in T-20 format. In that case Virat can take the charge of the T-20 side.

its good only best 4 teams are qualifying. even though we are emotional, india does not belong to semis.

how do you rate Pak or WI as the top 4 teams? WI lost 2 matches in the run up to the semis and just scraped past NZ to qualify. Pak almost lost to SA and were badly beaten by India. India lost only one match in the whole tournament. I would say luck was just not on their side. True, there were some bad decisions in team selection and common sense was not used while playing against Pak to try and win by a bigger margin when they had 8 wickets in hand. But, yes if some luck was on their side, they would have made it to semis
