Whether Ganguli is scoring runs or not, doesn't matter

PWI supporters go to stadium to watch Ganguly, not the hopeless team they have. PWI is better off retaining Ganguly in playing eleven. BTW, Pune Warrior has nothing to do with Pune. It is more like a Bengal team. The owner, captain and quite a few players from Bengal in that team whereas not a single player from Pune or even Maharashtra is playing in that team. (This is more or less the case for most of the teams in IPL. I really pity those die-hard fans who support a team just because BCCI stuck their city' name to the team.)

He is preparing them mentally by leading them to the last spot! The team can show only better results after he leaves, as they will be in the last till he is there! See what happened to KKR once he left the at last position! Same will happen to PWI.

The most successful captain that India has ever seen, is now being dropped by Team PWI. Once a very aggressive player and a captain, is now a burn out case. As a player, he has slowed down and is a fit case for, that he should be doing other things out of the field, rather than being in the middle of the field when the game is on. This he should realize and leave gracefully. He should have realized when no team picked him during the auction last time round.

most successful captain in what scence?...During his 6 yrs captainship India won only 2 trophy...natwest trophy & ICC champions Trophy(jointly with Srilanka)....under the captainship of Dhony India won so many trophies(including two World Cup)....reach no 1 position in test.....Even Md. Azharuddin gave India more Trophy( Hero cup, wills cup, Sharja cup,Asia cup,Independence Cup etc.) than Ganguly......

With reference to Rajeev Naryan message, he wants to say that Ganguly won more test match ie 22 test. We dont consider average. As we know don bradman scored 29 century in 52 test, but still we consider tendulkar as he scored more century even he played more than 170 test

He has captained in 22 tests in Which India won. He has not given us victory it was contribution from everyone excluding ganguly that is the first point. Second most 12 matches were against Bang, Zim and kenya. If you remember we toured Zim frequently during that period.

Why he will be waiting for IPL 6 to come with good form. He is captain and shouild have to show his performance in this IPL only. otherwise nobody will picked him in next auction.

Ganguly will bully himself into the team, else he will buy the team himself! So Ganguly fans can enjoy his walking, talking,.. He will even bully ICC into having a permanent runner for himself!!

What do you folks think of Dhoni in T20 format? He already costed India the last T20 WC by insisting to come in at #3 and playing too slow and getting out. He hasn't done my in current IPL either..

Sourav Ganguly is one of the best captains the cricketing world has every seen.Even when I visited Lords, the tour guide pointed to a particular balcony and said 'That is Ganguly's balcony' - boy! that did make us 5 Indians real proud in a group of 25 tourists!!! Not only in Bengal ... wherever this man goes to play, emotions run high .. that is just one of the things Dada comes with ... True he is past his prime ... but most of his contemporaries also are ... Politics have always been done against him ... he never was a party to any dirty game .. and never will be!

Please retain Ganguly in the PWI team...if not as a player, as some sort of an administrator. Same for Wasim Akram as well. Otherwise, they will come back as commentators.
