I think none in that team is better to lead. Besides his performance is good enough in comparision the others of the rest side. Acctually the Pune management did it fatal not taking part in the auction.

It should have been taken earlier more so when after Michael Clarke's arrival whence he should have been made Captain and Ganguly dropped. GANGULY IS HISTORY
The first mistake which they did is taking him, second mistake giving him capton seat. He is not a fit player at this time , forget about leading the team CMA
This is not a wise decision to take out at this time... If management decide to drop ganguly... Pune warriors are going to loose rest of the matches also... "Clark" If you go by him....he is a super flop this time and smith dont have such capabilities to handle the complete team...Better decision is to play with the ganguly.....

As 4 teams will qualify for play off, lets accept that better teams will do.And 4 inferior teams will not. Before starting of the tournament did anybody really thought about semifinal entry of PWI with this weak team ? Once PWI won 3-4 matches everyone started dreaming. Franchise should made strong team by taken part in auction and then start semifinal dream. When Ganguly was not in IPL 4 did he beg Sahara to include and make him captain? Its sahara who made him captain in place of Yuvi but gave him a weak team by ignoring auction. It is as to cut wings of a bird and command him to fly.

yeah..maybe they can keep him for this season..just because, he was once a good player for india!! or if at all they hav to try..let them try some indians to lead the side..why clarke!!!
