He is not at his best, but still adamant that he can play this shorter version of the game. His fielding is pathetic to say the least. He thinks, if dravid can play, y not him. But dravid is made of something else, unlike this guy who was at the helm due to politics. Dravid is the legend of the game. Even higher than Tendulkar.

He should be forced to give up because he does not have the sense when to give up. He can not be allowed to continue with his impractical ambitions. No corporate house can afford this.

Why that corporate house was idle during players auction. They ruined the team and thought about semifinal or champion ? What about IPl 4 ? Ganguly entered the team at the last stage,but before that fate was written. After winning 4 out of first 6 with this weak team Sahara started day dreaming and when actual picture came into limelight they want a scapegoat now. They may be owner but they knows nothing about CKT what Ganguly knows. Franchise should strengthen the team first then blame the captain as a captain is as good as his team.

@Santanu, Comrade, nobody is blaming Ganguly for losing matches, but for the decisions he has taken and the way he has played thus far, is what they are blaming. They are hoping to put up best team & tactics and lose, not loose even before they compete.

My friend Vishwanath you should know in IPL, franchise is the last word for team selection. They tried to include those players for whom they spent more. In most of the cases the influenced batting order as Ganguly entered at no.7 in KKR match.And what about the best team when the probable team was ruined during auction? Body language during match shows who is giving the best for the team. May be Uthhappa performed well in batting but did he tried enough in the match against DD (60 form 58) to accelerate run rate when 8 wickets were there in hand and team scored 148 for 2. Or regular dropping catches of opponent key players by others or miss stumping or loose delivery or childish shots ?

Santanu Bhai, all good things have an end. As Bengalis we wanted a good end for our icon who is also a national figure. But he has put his fans in general and Bengalis vertically down. He has refused to have a good end. After returning from South Africa and after scoring double hundred he should have gracefully retired.
