"Brand Managers" or "Paid news"
by Rakesh nair on Jul 11, 2012 05:53 PM  | Hide replies

All the "Brand managers" are busy creating "News"...we should say "Paid news"!!!
These "Paid news" works well in "India" because it is mostly a land of "Illiterates" or "Educated Illiterates" or "Hero worshipers".....
At any point of time..."Best XI" needs to be selected in a "Team sport" to "Win"!!!
The Weak man (Srikant) is so "Excited" abt "Sachins" achievements that....he is "Compromising" Indias position for "Individual Ambitions" in a "Team sport"!!
Only "Selection Commitee"...."Corporate BCCI"....."Sports Ministry" are "Responsible" because a Player ("Sachin")...would like to play for "50 yrs"...Whether he is "Fit" or "Unfit"...Because of "Money" & "Records"!!!

Paid news works all over the world, it's not original concept from India. We copied it from western world just like other things. :)

btw, you forgot to mention MSD in that list of culprits. ;)

The point is Sachin still deserves to be in the XI in ODIs. He was the highest run getter in the WC. He just failed in OZ and should have been dropped but again he played well.

One of the Usual Comments from Sachin's Haters is "Sachin Plays for his Record, not for Country. Sachin is Selfish, Playing only for money."

Please let me know, Highest Wicket Taker in Test and ODI Cricket Muralidharan is a Selfish Player? Highest Test Avg (99.99 )(Evergreen Record) Holder Bradman is a Selfish Player? Most Dismisal by a Keeper Record Holder Gilchrist is a Selfish Player?

Simply, if any Player Holds one or more Recods, Is he a Selfish Player or he playing for Records only?

And About Money. Please let me know, which player playing for charity by not accepting a single Dollar for Playing.

Usually people retire & "Groom"

Lara was 1000 runs ahead when he retired

He "Unusually Prolonged" just to match his record!

Then why did'nt he achieve ANYTHING which others achieved in

16 year Career Span??

?

ummm... because he is not a wicket keeper or bowler or a single lonely talented batsman in team without whom everything collapses like pack of cards (OK that may sound bit like India but it's not :) )?

Seriously Demons, how old are you? :D

Demons,

I know its a foolish question, But for you, its an apt one.

Then Why Lara Didn't Retire Before his last 1001 Runs? Means, Why didnt he retired before Breaking That Record? Was he played for Record? Was he waited to Break that record and Add some Runs ?

Yes.

1. When he captained India against Australia, he relinquished captaincy, since India lost all matches. Never wanted responsibility.

2. When Rahul Dravid declared when Schin was nearing his 200, he showed clearly his disappointment.

All the other players you mentioned called it a day, when they felt that they were slowing down. Bradman could have played another match to get his average to 100.

In spite of many advising him to retire, he still continues to haunt cricket lovers.

I am not Sachin hater. But my respect for him are lost.

Had he been so bad these days and if there were good players sitting on bench there, do you think it will be easy to be in 11 by just saying "I want to play"? That too when you have a strong leader like Dhoni?

I never got all this fuss about comparing players, still btw have a look at Lara's carrier span. If there is anyone who can be blamed as "If he performs team loses" then it's Lara (because that team lost almost every time. :D )

We Indians are always cynical about everything. Most of the guys are just a bunch of average people or losers who can't do anything right in life and still keep giving such statements. that's what is awesome about we Indians.

Anyways, keep saying what you saying... it's really entertaining, specially when there is no cricket going on right now. (oh, I can catch PAK vs SRI. great.)

Sunkriti,

Sachin was the captain of the Team , were the major players (Mongia, Ahar, Jadeja) who Plays for the opposite Team. Not Just Sachin, nobody will lead that Team. Still People like you calls him Bad captain without understanding the Truth.

And About Dravid Issue, The man who helped to Build a Great Score for the Team after losing 2 early Wickets, dont have right to complete his Double Century (which is not a common thing)? which is just 6 Runs away not 60.

Was that India's Second Innings and very less overs remaining to take 10 Wickets of Pakistan?

It was India's First Innings and Luckily with the Help of Sehwag's Fireworks, Run Rate was more than 4 (A Very Good Run Rate for a Test Match ). Nobody cant digest Dravid's reason for the declare whoever saw the match. It was nothing but Just Jealous.

And in what way Sachin haunts cricket Lovers? If you cant respect your own Countryman who made his country proud in more occasions, and you calls yourself a Cricket Lover? And all the Cricket Lovers told you Sachin Hunting them?

Shame on You.

from where r u putting these filters..crossed 7-8 times per year.. and maintaining overall 44 avg for so long is achievement in itself.. else any Tom-D-Harry can play 1 mtach, score century and claim to be averaged 1-0-0

look at the positions where they play, duration for which they played, no. of matches they played and you get your answer.

Stop running round and round kid, just say you hate him and end of the debate.

Let's not talk about greatness, one century a year and Sehwag or Dhoni or even Jadeja looks like a match winner to Indians. :D

sure not money but he will regret this, someone of Sachins calibre shd have gone after 2011 WC win, best time to leave on top... U cant beat age and secondly people say KAPIL extended his career by 2 yrs, young fast bowlers got ruined. I think sachin has extended his career by a good 4-5 yrs, what about people like bADRI.. THEIR CAREERS

my friend tendu.. has been playing since 23 yrs. about time younger player gets chance. TALK logic when Sehwag will be 39, then talk of him retiring and do mind India became nO.1 IN TEST CRICKET only/ mainly due to Sehwag, his batting made all the difference.. check records for this u will know the facts

ok..so age shud b the factor for retiring not the performance.. well BCCI needs to draw stringent guidelines then.. and India became no.1 mainly due to sehwag ?? hmm..I wonder why ppl praise Sachin/Dravid/Ganguly/Kumble and somewhat Dhoni as well..sicne as per you they were only s-u-p-p-o-r-t-e-r-s :)
