They know that it is the easiest way to get some views on the website, which is boring if there are no matches going on.
The very name Sachin is enough to attract fans and haters to voice their opinions :)

Nothing wrong in having love for cricket. But it is better if he stays in test only. He was a great batsman even in ODIs, he has seen and experienced the highs and lows of the Indian team for over 2 decades.
He can stay in Tests & IPL as he is doing a fair job.
His concern should be grooming the team for the next WC-2015. I liked his move to abstain from going to series like West Indies and Sri Lanka. They are not so draining like England/South Africa/Australia.
It is in these places that you will find the captaincy skills of Raina or other talents like Rohit Sharma/Tiwary/Rahane, etc.

Respect the Legacy and Master Class
by Ashutosh Dixit on Jul 11, 2012 09:55 AM  | Hide replies

To All Critics of Sachin,

Before making any point, pls look at yourself what you have achived in ur own life. Sachin is the one who made to watch cricket and made you to learn cricket. Don Bradman called Sachin not you crtics at his house. Its Sachin who made 100 tons in cricket not you. Its Sachin who made India proud at countless occassion not you. Its Sachin, whom with Warne - Lee - Mcgrath - Akram were feared of, Not you.

So Instead of making rude comments, Admire and Salute the Master Class.....

Ha ha ha...Do u give a damn abt what Akram said in his well rehearsed interview....Ask Waqar what he said in WC 2003 when he dropped sachin's catch....he said "You have no clue whose catch u have dropped. You have actually dropped world cup"

Your Sachin is a selfish idiot batsman who doesnt play for Country and plays for building more & more batting records for himself. India would breath a sigh of relief the day this SELFISH player retires. And also this SELFISH player is blocking the place of a talented younster coming in the ranks like Ajinkya Rahane.

for country or for money?
what a love for country, not giving chance to youngsters and using his money power to dictate BCCI and not allow youngsters to grow.

tendoooo and gannnndooo have same same pronounciation
by Sameer Shaikh on Jul 11, 2012 09:32 AM  | Hide replies

Tendulkar has said he will never join politics, but eventually has become master politician where he plays and fool public for personal gain.We agree he was special and great batsman but it is foolish if he plays till 2020.
1) His biggest wish was world cup, why he is playing? Now he says it is to bring India back to No 1 in test. In real this bahman signed 3 years 250 crore contract which states he needs to play active cricket to get that amount
2) When T20 started he says it is not meant for him as he is old for that, soon after cash rich IPL he went into Neeta Bhabhi's pallu to seek her support and said it is a good platform for youngsters on indian flat dead track. What lie?
3) He always missed domestic tournament citing rest. Now don't you want to mentor youngster here
4) His friend Kambli also lost respect and was gunning for his retirement on TV programe
5) When anyone talks about his retirement he says he is enjoying cricket and madly in love with game and playing for nation and cities spending time with children when India is playing international cricket.
6) Whoever whether public or fellow commentator or explayer speaks about his retirement becomes his enemy like Imran Khan, Chappell and Manjrekar
All these traits of this selfish... sorry super selfish person show that he don't deserve to be called great. kick this leech

Sameer, you even dont understand the difference between politics and MP. You cant walk to same office for more than 3 years. he has done it for 21 years. Show some respect and dont get jealous.....dont forget, he is the one who made you to watch cricket at first place....

Love of the game ... and records too !!
by Mayala Fakir on Jul 11, 2012 09:20 AM  | Hide replies

Yes. And more so with records. There's nothing wrong. In-fact, unless you have your eyes set on goals, there's no way you are going to go anywhere.

You have to have passion to excel. To play against all odds. To do better than the next guy. To stand out. To leave your mark as you exit. That's the way legends operate.

"You have got to be madly in love with cricket. Before you lay a foundation on the cricket field, there should be a solid foundation in your heart and you start building on that." - Very true. Applies to any sport or profession or art. You have to imbibe that spirit to the last dot.

So, Tendulkar ji, I am with you. For once.
