read hisory of the game - not in his time. India was s..itting in pants during his regime. Zaheer was responsible for the premature retirement of spin trio. Start respecting if you want to be respected and READ
I hold Tendulkar in high esteem, But I agree with Imran "in principle". Remember the old saying, you should stop singing when your voice is still good.

Imran said players have the right to decide when they want to retire and the management should first get replacements for them.
i think in d 1st two test matches he was d only batsman who scored fluently and looked to score big. The next two lost his touch a bit and succumbed to pressure. Though not a tendulkar fan but d small innings which he played fluently in 1st two test matches showed he is still among d top in world.

Looking fluent is different, and scoring is different, Akhash Chopra was quite succesfull in taming the Aussie attack long back, why was he dropped later on? reason, because he was not scoring enough runs, had we persisted with akash chopra, he would have a succesful openor today. If he is not converting the starts he has a problem, age is catching up, 100 in his mind, overall its affecting the national team. So he should go. It is not that he is getting out in 90s just for one innings.

Aakash chopra only faced the auusies in India and not on their home turf. He has a couple of fiftees against SA. Update your knowledge please.
