India will win when Aussies come to Indian soil
by Kumar Gourkar on Jan 24, 2012 05:37 PM  | Hide replies

Remember we won against West Indies. We can rout the Aussies when they come for touring India. This is only a small phase. Indian players are not playing properly becos they dont want to give much importance to the Australia tour. IF they want, they can win the tour but they are focussing on the next series coming on India.

Whats the big deal???
by Face Dude on Jan 24, 2012 05:13 PM  | Hide replies

Aussies have only scored 350 runs! They still have a long way to go before they score 850 runs in the first innings..

As said earlier, Clark wont score a triple century this time but allow Ponting to score a triple century.. Clarke will help himself with a double century only. He also have to allow some batting practice for the tail enders you see..

So with all this in the background, I wonder why some of our country men are losing sleep and talk as if its curtains for indian cricket. Cheer up guys! More to bear in the next 4 days!!

Ponting a better batsman than Sachin ?
by powerful Goldstar on Jan 24, 2012 05:06 PM  | Hide replies

I read an article in the newspaper where I read that Ponting is a much technically better batsman than Sachin. I think we cannot fault anyone who agrees with that.

Sehwag, Dhoni and Team, Shame Shame Puppy Shame !!
by powerful Goldstar on Jan 24, 2012 04:56 PM  | Hide replies

I think somebody like the PM or President should call all the Indian Players, BCCI president, Cricket selectors to the Stadium in front of the Parliament and sing "Shame Shame Puppy Shame !!!". Such is the state of Indian cricket today. A bunch of old aged pension receiving players who are too tired to move their feet against quality fast bowling. Indian batsment can score runs only on pitches where no foot work or batting techniques are needed. That too, if they go to Srilanka or Pakistan, they will be beaten black and blue. I think the Indian Prime Minister should recall the current Indian Team from Australia and instruct them not to go for any abroad tours becos pitches might be different from dead slow grandma pitches at home.

Poor Cricketing System in India and Senior players
by powerful Goldstar on Jan 24, 2012 04:47 PM  | Hide replies

Actually Sachin made a big mistake by not retiring after the World cup Victory. It was an ideal point in his career to retire with grace. Everybody would have remembered him as a great player who was part of a world cup winning team. But now the Indian team is performing so badly that no player has a face to show the world. If Sehwag, Sachin, Dravid and Lakshman had retired before the Aus tour, it would have given chances to 4 young players atleast two of them who could have played for India for next 5 years if proven good. There is no efficient senior player replacement process in Indian cricket selection. We are always obsessed with past statistics and do blind idol worshipping as incase of Sachin. This is the bane of Indian cricket.

On indian wickets no technique required
by shubam on Jan 24, 2012 04:35 PM

Gautham Gambir said it will be tough for visiting teams traveling in India to play on turning wickets. First of all he should realise that when playing on turning wickets no visiting team will loose the match in 2days. the teams coming atleast goes down fighting.playing in India doesn't need any technique, just u have to attack the spinner
