On indian wickets no technique required
by shubam on Jan 24, 2012 04:35 PM

Gautham Gambir said it will be tough for visiting teams traveling in India to play on turning wickets. First of all he should realise that when playing on turning wickets no visiting team will loose the match in 2days. the teams coming atleast goes down fighting.playing in India doesn't need any technique, just u have to attack the spinner

New captain same team but....
by Anurag Rathore on Jan 24, 2012 04:30 PM  | Hide replies

New captain same team but the result is same. Media and so called experts have to understand that problem is in our batting. There is no need to change captain.

Here is solution to Indias problems
by powerful Goldstar on Jan 24, 2012 04:17 PM

1) Make recruitment of players to International Level Cricket follow a similar process how we do for recruitment to Armed Forces - Ensure some criteria are defenitely met - strong physical stamina, fitness levels, athletic abilities - have them pass some tests to prove - Anyone failing these should be outright rejected from joining the team

2) Implement a system where players irrespective of being Senior or Junior are rested immediately and stand-by players are given chances immediately. This will ensure Players are not complacent about their past deeds and feel the need to perform better. Also it will help for effective transition and replacement of older players.

3) Prepare both fast bouncy and slow pitches in correct proportion in different venues in India - this will help players adapt quickly to both.

4) Give emphasis to selecting promising young fast as well as spin bowlers at National Level.

not surprising...
by SUJATHA KUMAR on Jan 24, 2012 03:32 PM  | Hide replies

not very suprising!!. What can you expect from a team which has already lost 0-4 last year and is now 0-3 down . Cricket was a success in india only because the team was winning compared to other sports. Now on the spectators will lose interest in indian cricket and slowly this game in india will meet the fate of indian hockey..

the cricket administration in india is too clever..
they know how to fool the gullible indian fans, and they also know there r only one type of ppl who can be fooled always. Indian fans....
Soon they will arrange a home series with bangladesh and everything will be back to normal and it will be business as usual...

Why the big fuss?
by Face Dude on Jan 24, 2012 03:28 PM

Aussies have only scored 350 runs! They still have a long way to go before they score 850 runs in the first innings..

As said earlier, Clark wont score a triple century this time but allow Ponting to score a triple century.. Clarke will help himself with a double century only. He also have to allow some batting practice for the tail enders you see..

So with all this in the background, I wonder why some of our country men talk as if every thing is lost for indian cricket. They seem to jump to conclusions too quickly!!! Cheer up guys!
