moreover Sachin faced --- Auissie bowlers ============ mike whitney craig mc dermot paul rifel to Macgrath, warne ----- south africa ------- allan donald ,shaun pollock to latest morkel etc --- Pak ---- Imran Khan ,waqar younis ,wasim akram ,shoaib kthar ,aaqib javed , and many more ============================= Sachin also faced most English and west indies bowlers
Compared to the above ? did Ricky ponting face - Imran ,wasim and waqar ?(i do not think so only waugh bros faced them)
also Shaun Pollock and Allan donald (did clarke or rickey face them again I do not think so ?)

That is why we Indian Fans respect so much Sachin Tendulkar
because he played against so many attacks from different cricketing nations
different conditions
over 22 years
so we respect him for consistency ,technique and temperment and feel he is a complete batsman who faced atleast two generations of bowlers ---- from Imran to Shoaib akthar from Alland Donald to Morkels from Craig mc dermot, mcgrath to current aussie bowlers
so no BATSMAN in crickets history is tested so much

sachin scored 33 out of 51 centuries in asian pitches which are batsmen friendly

Khan...go and check your terror manual. It will tell exactly if cricket is halal or haram.

this is bad guru. And moreover it were these khans who took sachin's (if u understand what i mean) in crucial situation against pak. In recent history too , dropped for 5 times in sf against pak and managed pathetic 80 odd runs . Great sachin no ?
Re: Re: @Comparasions do not match with bowling standards
by rama anne on Jan 24, 2012 02:09 PM
@Parviz Khan ========= check the statistics and also see some Aussie Univ research
Sachins home average vs away average is above 50 plus ---- That is why Aust Univ professor ranked him as the best batsman ? atleast ask the AUSTRALIAN univ professor for the details
Re: Re: Re: @Comparasions do not match with bowling standards
by parvaiz khan on Jan 24, 2012 02:28 PM
you go and see in cricinfo stats, you will see the answers whether my information is accurate or not. In India 22,bangladesh 5,srilanka 5, and pak 1

May be true . but here lies the flip side. Just look how many matches he has played against them ? Numerous is the ans. And after having played infinite matches one can score at least one hundred no ? and im sure that hundred too would not have come under pressure but rather in a match (batting first)everybody had scored then sachin also did.
Re: Re: @Comparasions do not match with bowling standards
by rama anne on Jan 24, 2012 02:14 PM
@bhasmasur mahishasur ======= how will his AVERAGE be above 50 plus for so long in the carrer span
this match again seems to end in 3 days . Thanks to India thay have invented a new form of cricket. Good they will now suggest ICC that they should reduce test matches to only 3 days . They will also organise ipl version of these test
ojha the best performer with the ball and instrumental in all indian wins at home,is not given a single test to play outside india.he should have played in place of umesh.
Re: Re: ojha
by Guru Dandamis on Jan 24, 2012 02:09 PM
correct. And Rohit should have played Tests 3 and 4 in place of either Dravid or Laxman. Sick of these old fellows who have lost concentration forever. They should move on.

disguised ID ------- by the look of how things are going ,your statement though not made in right spirit may turn out to be true who knows ?
I feel something is wrong but not sure what is it ?
only a day has finished so far ,hope they will come back tommorow better ?
looks like Indian team is feeling aussie sun with full heat ?is the OZONE layer off in Adelaide skies ?
A player on the verge of forceful retirement scoring 2 back 2 back centuries,(can even score triple hundred in this match) against most below average bowling side and here in india the bcci chief is confident of our teams win on our soil against any team in the world. Some international players like chanderpaul, salim malik, mudatsar nazar, jaisurya were able to extend their carrier due to pathetic indian attack.
come in india they give tough right but here team india bowler and feilder only make formalties like pakistan in 2009-10 when not a single match win by md yusuf and co. and 6 man banned by Pakistan cricket board after returning from australia.
Re: No match
by rama anne on Jan 24, 2012 01:46 PM
do not be jealous man why cry on Sachin always --- Sachin also scored - 74,42,32,80 in MCG and SCG tests
Perth he has had bad luck LBW decision in 2nd innings ----- also how can you compare Batsman vs Batsman when aussie bowlers are consistent where as Indian bowlers are not consistent ?
Re: Re: No match
by bhasmasur mahishasur on Jan 24, 2012 02:00 PM
those innings were good no doubt. but you will see tomoo may be sachin getting ot under 10 bcos of pressure , as usual. And his lbw was very clear btw. he just , as usual did not know what to do against a good bowler
Re: No match
by ANIL SINGH on Jan 24, 2012 01:48 PM
where this comparison come from. btw ponting record average is high only because of test matches played against indian bowlers in Australia. Indian bowlers are worst in world even WI have better attack.
Re: Re: No match
by ANIL SINGH on Jan 24, 2012 01:51 PM
if sachin would have played against the indian bowlers he would have score couple of triple centuries.
Re: Re: Re: No match
by bhasmasur mahishasur on Jan 24, 2012 01:55 PM
ay be . but he woul not have played for that ..bcos any other board does not allow a player to play on and on without being a performer in crucial situations . Given the surety of tenure that he always has played with , even ss das wold have scored these many hundreds
Re: Re: Re: No match
by ANIL SINGH on Jan 24, 2012 01:55 PM
zaheer average overated bowler. ishant - not for born in india he would have only played at club level. umesh to early to comment but he talk of bowling fast --- 145 is not very fast. munaf, sreeshant, nehra all club level. spinner none has quality now. bhajji was probably the last good one but some three years back.

@bhas, he is consistently scoring. ponting is extra-ordinary against india but he was flop against recently concluded series against SA and NZL.

Acknowledged. But scoring against whom ? and when ? this is the question. Barring his sharjahinnings and dec 2009 againt aus that 175 in chasing , no other commendable performance . nd too were on flat dead pitches. He scor when every body does , he scores when there is no pressure or demanding situation .. but fails under pressure , chasing , overseas or genuine attack. A class player , yes. But a match winner and performer , no.

how will Sachin be responsible for team not performing
he is just a batsman and he did his part (still averages better than other Indian batters ) as well ----- by the way what is wrong in celebrating a wonderful player like Sachins ACCOMPLISHMENTS

we are not fantards ,atleast so many Indians watch CRICKET -- so much of money is there in the game ?
did aussies not play in the IPL and earn some good money ?
be a bit appreciative towards Indian cricket followers
actually we are the ones to feel more pain at our team loss
we do not need your remarks that do not sound right ? --
part of game. All know. IN 2010 october border gavaskar series in mohali Australia lost by 1 wicket. In 2008 BG australia lost by 2-0 against 4 test match. So team india fight in overseas like australia after all you are world champions.IN 3 test dhoni and co. did not fight in single innings.Very shameful incident 70000 runs made by top 7 batsman combined made only 300 runs in perth.Shame Shame

that is true sir ricky thomas ponting in this case become best captain of cricket world.WHen they lost quarter final in world cup 2011 look at their team bret lee injured, stressed in ponting back. But team india struggled in last ball.
