Great, Kapi Pa Ji!

Kapil Dev is within his rights to feels ashamed; I mean feeling ashamed is a democratic right which cannot be denied to him, but did he feel ashamed when his side was beaten by Sri Lanka in 1985, or does he feel ashamed about it now? Did he feel ashamed when a Pakistani team which was definitely inferior in quality to Indian side which was led by Kapil Paaji beat the indian side at our own backyard in 1987? Perhaps he did not.
And did Kapil Dev feel ashamed when he kept playing for India without performing for nearly a decade. He is the only bowler in the history of the game, who opened the bowling in all the Tests in a series, and finished wicketless the entire series. For non-believers, this happened in 1986 against Australia at home. Did he feel ashamed then? I don't think so.
Then what about us? If we ever feel ashamed, and stop watching these stars, they would respect our sentiments, which for the present, they care two hoots about.

No need to feel ashamed when we lose. On that count Kapil need not about past indian teams.
But EVERYONE should feel ashamed about surrenders.

Dear Mr Kapil, you were the coach of the 1999-00 tour where India lost 4-0. Did you feel ashamed that time?

If BCCI will be sacking seniors, even helicopter shot should be sacked. He is not fit for test cricket.

@ Take adequate steps to shape up the TEAM as well
by rama anne on Jan 22, 2012 10:02 AM  | Hide replies

First of all
------
yes team India lost 2 series - one in england and the other in Aust as well
========
so should we start to rip apart the team ? NO
so should we blame the BCCI either ? NO
so should we blame senior players ? NO
------------------
solutions
----------
take the pain ,but take practical measures and steps

i)get BOWLING machines and use them at the indoor nets

ii)Form an Indian A team with all the YOUNGSTERS ,and allow those YOUNGSTERS to tour Eng ,Aust,South Africa ,West Indies ETC IN THEIR DOMESTIC Cricket

iii)once the India A team play and prove well in those tournaments with temperment and techniques ,and exposed to conditions abroad

iv)layout GREEN turfs at MOHALI ,and NAGPUR and allow those strips to simulate the conditions abroad as well

The above steps will make the TEAM stronger and well equipeed with players who are young but mature at heart and mind as well

BCCI should not be pressurised with media
----
the way pressure is applied in AUST should not be blindly copied onto Indian shores

yes we can take practical measures and borrow techniques etc

so we must resist the pressure and adopt the plans ,techniques and plan as well

Once these lads come back they will again start scoring centuries and will be branded greats. Our Flat pitches zindabad..!!IPL is round the corner they are in australia for paid honeymoon.Cricket is no longer the game between nations ,it has become a franchise and a money minting Corporation. We must Acknowledge this fact and move on and lend our support and energy to Athletics,Hockey,Boxing,Gymnastics & Football instead.

Let these guys keep loosing so that people lsoe interest in them. IPL this time will be a mega flop. Then no money for BCCI. And no money means all oldies will be kicked out. Then rebuild the team.

That's correct. By watching such scripted dramas on TV we are being taken for a ride by the organisors and sponsers who earn huge money from advertisements while we lose paying up for electricity bills and wastage of time watching ads half the time. These idiots are the cause for the decline in children IQ and intelligence as well.
