In recent 10 years abroad tests India
by vikas k on Jan 17, 2012 12:32 AM  | Hide replies

Only these players have shined

a) Rahul Dravid
b) Tendulkar
c) Laxman
d) Sourav Ganguly

First count all the tests India won abroad
last 10 years..Their technique and skill
won us..yes age may have taken some sheen
out of their batting. Even in india
they have done well.

Whereas Virender Sehwag ,Gautam Gambhir
Dhoni have only good scores/accumulated runs in
india alone.

In 2 series the trio (Sach/Wall/Lax) batsman
fail why should they alone take all the blame..
Wall didnt crack in england..Sach was good here..but couldnt convert.

Rohit Sharma is really good and will be
a star in test cricket
Virat ..has temperment and can mature easily
as he did in Perth..he will captain india later..im sure..

The guys who should be axed are
Sehwag..Gamhir and Dhoni..simply because
they never won us any tests abroad
and never will..forget it..but they ride
on others abroad and score against Sri lanka
or weak attacks.

What about Kris Srikanth
by kumar on Jan 16, 2012 11:44 PM  | Hide replies

Indian needs fresh set of selectors. The present selection committee is too biased and hence you can the results.
Kris Srikanth is becoming useless now. He can move out of Selection committee before india starts seeing 4-0 against other countries also.

Everybody involved with the governance of Indian cricket is useless and selfish!

With the money involved, who would really care about the sport?!

And to top that Indian fans are satisfied with patchy performances.

It is a perfect situation for making money when your customers let you take advantage of them and don't demand good quality!

CRICKET IS GENTLEMAN'S GAME THUS INDIAN CRICKET RULED BY GENTLEMEN LIKE SHARAD PAWAR, RAJIV SHUKLA, LALIT MODI AND MANY MORE LIKE THEM. DUE TO CURRENT SITUATION EVERYBODY HAS SET SOFT TARGET FOR HEAD OF LAXMAN AND DRAVID!....OK LAXMAN COULD BE CONSIDERED BUT WHY DRAVID? WHY MEDIA AND OTHERS ARE NOT QUESTIONING OTHERS? WHY ARE NOT REVIEWING STATS OF LAST 1-2 YEARS DATA?
1. WHY NOT SWEHBAG? WHAT HE HAS DONE IN LAST 2 YEARS? THROUGH OUT HIS CAREER HE PLAYS A SINGLE INNINGS AND REMAIN NEXT 20 INNINGS USELESS. WHAT HE HAS DONE FOR LAST 7 MATCHES? SHALL WE CONSIDER HIM AS YOUNG BLOOD IN INDIAN TEAM?
2. YOUNG BLOOD-GAUTAM GAMBHIR- WHAT IS THERE IN HIS KITTY IN LAST 7 MATCHES? LAST 1 YEAR?
3. WHO ARE THE PLAYERS HAD PLAYED WELL IN ENGLAND- IF NOT DRAVID THEN INDIA WOULD HAD MORE WORSE RESULT THAN AUSTRALIA.
4. SACHIN- AS LONG AS HE IS AIMING FOR HIS 100TH 100 - WE SHOULD NOT POINT TO HIM. SAAT KHOON MAAP
5. MR GOLDEN TOUCH...M S DHONI....ALL IS WELL WITH HIM...SAAT KHOON MAAF ...AGAIN.
6. YOUNG BLOOD SHOULD BE PUMPED IN INDIAN TEAM BUT WITH CORRECT GROUP....NOT LIKE ISHANT.
7. WHY WE ARE NOT QUESTIONING OUR COACH AND HIS TEAM?
8. MOST IMPORTANTLY SHALL WE CONSIDER EX-PLAYERS LIKE VINOD KAMBLI AS EXPERTS? WHAT CREDENTIAL HAVE IN HIS KITTY? OR EX-PLAYERS LIKE PRABHAKAR, ATUL WASAN MANY MORE WHO ARE THEMSELVES WERE VERY MEDIOCRE OR BELOW QUALITY PLAYERS IN THEIR TIME.

Players are not the problem!

The problem is how this game has become a circus and the players the animals who perform in this circus!

Cricket matches cannot be treated as advertising hoardings that are on public display all the time!

Sponsors are ruining the sport, if it has not already been ruined!
