PLS DROP SAACHIN PLSSSSS!!

I have a confession to make. I do not want Sachin Tendulkar to make his 100th international century in one-day cricket. For too long this meaningless pursuit of three figures has affected Tendulkar's batting, consumed the media and public and, most importantly, distracted the Indian team.
I want to see Tendulkar leave the game respectfully, not turn out in random ODI matches on some bogus rotation policy which does nothing for the future of Indian cricket while he singularly pursues a number. The player has become greater than the game and that's not doing anyone any good.

With each venture to the crease and another almost inevitable failure during the ongoing CB Series, falling to the likes of Mitchell Starc, Angelo Mathews and Nuwan Kulasekara, the image of an outstanding cricketer, a player who was part of my cricketing awakening and no doubt millions of others, takes a beating. Instead of the memory of Tendulkar being hoisted on the shoulders of his much younger team-mates after India won the World Cup last year, it is a dejected, often isolated Tendulkar hanging his head while walking back to the dressing room that is threatening to be the lasting image. This wasn't the way it was supposed to be.
Tendulkar's bid for an unprecedented century of international centuries has been the talking point since he hit his 99th hundred against South Africa at the World Cup in March 2011. He has now gone 21 Test innings and seven one-day matches withou

so you agree anurag kumar, that dhoni has right to criticise you without knowing anything about java code and bugs and whatever...then you too are granted the right to criticise dhoni about cricket without knowing anything about cricket whatsoever....

Sachin should have ideally retired from ODIs after the 2011 WC finals. That would have been a perfect send-off to the great man in front of his home crowd, and that too with the biggest win in 28 years.

You missed it SACHIN...if you are thinking about 100th ton, you can always get in the home series sometime this year. I seriosuly dont understand what is left in ODIs for Sachin, to still achieve. He has done that all, 450 matches, 18000 runs, 150 wickets, innumerous man of the match awards, famous wins, humiliating losses etc etc ...

YOU MISSED IT SACHIN....YOU SERIOUSLY MISSED IT.

Give him a team without Dravid, Tendulkar and Laxman and then see how he defeats any team on its own soil. 0-4, 0-4 results in last two series was due to inclusion of players who cared only for themselves not for the Country.

If not for those gentlemen, then the matches which are ending in 3 or 4 days, will end in 2 days and the result will be the same.Even ZIM & BANGLADESH will queue up to play against India.

This is a good joke...

Best finisher.... Good joke. In the match against Australia, during the 3rd play (36th to 40th over), Raina took singles of the 1st ball in three of the five overs and Dhoni patted back the rest of the five balls in all the three overs. That is, 15 dot balls during power play. Probably he wanted to carry it to the 50th over so that he will be called the best finisher.... Even Gambhir said India should have won by the 48th over. When you do not bat well in the earlier stages, you probably become the best finisher with a bit of luck thrown in (like the waist high no-ball of which he was caught and got three runs!)

I agree. Dhoni had not used his power to win the match by 48th over in both ODIs against Australia and Sri Lanka. Someone should tell him that he should play natural game and play the ball on its merit. Dhoni plays either over defensive or over aggressive which both are not correct. He should play his normal game.

Hey brother talking about one match that too which he won for use is of no much use, check your senses, its record over last 5 years which says he is the best finisher and not because of last 2 matches...
